5 YEARS LATER.

Lia's pov.

"Baby" My husband, Cory Parker yelled.

I smiled slightly to myself, readjusting my skirt before stirring the pasta that was in a pot on the stove.

"Yes honey?" I yelled back.

"Could you come and help me for a second" he yelled.

I started walking to the nursery where I last left him.

It's been five years since I've had any contact with Wesley, apparently after our conversation that day in Highschool he ended up flying to another country with Julia, I sometimes wonder how they're doing, I hope there doing as good as I am, because my life right now seriously couldn't get any better, I just finished college about a year ago and that's where I met Cory at actually.

We met freshman year and at first we were just really good friends, but one day he got the courage to ask me out and we've been together ever since.

I walked into the room Cory was at and laughed at the sight of him holding our two week old daughter, Emma with a frightened expression on his face.

"Baby, why are you looking at Emma like that?"I questioned curiously, stepping inside of the room. He glanced back at me and sighed.

"I'm still afraid I'm gonna drop her, and I don't want to put her in the crib because then she'll start crying again, and I called you in here to hold her so I could go take a shower" he rambled on.

I smiled slightly, taking a babbling Emma from him and gently placing her in my arms, rocking back and forth.

I smiled at her as she yawned slightly, I took my thumb swiping it against her forehead.

I don't know why but whenever I do that, she will start to fall asleep. Smiling down at a sleeping Emma, I placed a kiss on her forehead before slowly putting her in her crib.

Cory looked at me and smiled, cupping my face in his hands kissing me lightly against the lips, he pulled away and began playing with strands of my hair"I love you girls, so much"he said looking at me an Emma.

I smiled wide"We love you too"

Wesley's pov.

The sound of a door slamming shut cut me out of my sleep, I got up from bed and walked into the living room to see a stressed out looking Julia.

"School is hard bubba, how do you do it?" She asked, glancing at me. I noticed how tired she looked and sighed. She's been working herself to hard these days, she needs to start taking it easy.

I shrugged and sat next to her on the couch" I don't know baby, but we can get through it together"

"Together my butt"she mumbled" I'm in the fifth grade and you're a sophomore in college, you're graduating from your criminal justice major in a couple of years"

I smiled cheekily at her, and kissed her head before I got up to go make dinner.

Ever since we left a few years ago, life hasn't been easy. But it was worth it, I got to keep the people I care about safe and that's all that matters. I always wonder what Lia's been up to, a few of my old buddy's from Highschool recently told me that she was married and had a daughter, and if that's true than I'm happy for her.

She deserves to be happy and to be loved, I'm really happy with my life. I am in college to be a police officer; I've provided a safe home for me and my little sister, I have an amazing fiancé named Jasmine. Life seriously can't get any better than this.
