Lia's p.o.v.
I huffed looking around the parking lot searching for my parents car, yes I know I'm seventeen but I don't have a car or a license because I failed the driving test miserably.
I still remember the look on my poor ole driving instructor when I drove upon the sidewalk, well luckily there were no pedestrians around so nobody got hurt, well physically that is, I'm pretty sure my driving instructor(forgot his name, so that's why I keep calling him driving instructor) got admitted to a place where they get emotional help.
Yeah, safe to say I won't be driving for a while.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard a car honking but it wasn't my parents car it was my uncle Scott's.
Slowly approaching the car I stopped at the door"what are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be in jail?"
"Well not anymore"he chuckled reaching over and pushing the car door open"Did you escape or something?" I asked hesitantly getting in the car pulling my door shut.
"No, I was released this morning and your parents wanted me to come and pick you up,kind of like a surprise"He stated looking forwards as he drove off.
"Sorry I was late, I was catching up with Catherine and River, I guess we lost track of time"he said.
Catherine and River are my parents, they're loving and caring and all but most on the time I'm just home by myself cause they're either off on business trips or at work. They've missed so much in my life, but I always forgave them for it because they're my parents and I love them no matter what.No matter what.
"It's okay"I mumbled, not sure if he heard me or not.
"Here we are"he smiled putting the car to a stop in front on our very small one bedroom apartment.
I sighed opening the car door and getting out, I didn't realize how slow I was being until uncle Scott called me from the porch telling me to hurry up.
I shut the door jogging up to the porch and walking inside of the apartment.
Smiling I greeted my mom and dad who were sat on the couch listening to something uncle Scott has to say.I didn't feel like being apart of the conversation so I went to my room, which is the only room in the apartment. My mom and dad sleep on a futon in the living room whenever they are here.
I took a seat on my bed and looked out the window to see the new neighbors taking there stuff off a truck.
They looked like a nice family, the mom I presume had black hair, she was an average height, she can't be anything older that forty.
The dad,actually I didn't see one.
I saw a little girl jump into the women's arms, she had black wavy hair , she looked like the women but younger, she seemed to be about five, if that.
Then I saw him, a boy who looked around my age walked up to the girls, he had black hair like them, he had a sharp jaw line, broad shoulders, possibly abs.All in all, he was hot!.
I couldn't find myself to look away, even when he looked over my direction and caught me staring at him, wow that's embarrassing.
I pulled the curtains shut deciding to go back into the living room.
Bad idea.
I froze at the scene that was happening"U-Uncle Scott w-what are you doing"I stuttered in complete horror.
"Sweetie.Leave.Now"my father choked out.
"I'm not leaving you guys here"I said in tears staring at my uncle who had two guns pointed at their heads.
