I walked out into the sun. I wore an outfit that suited me and waited for my mom. We were to go to the mall near us and shop for clothes, but my mom had something to do first. I could tell that she didn't want to take me, but I was gonna make her anyway.

I could see her coming out of the door and I sat up in the car. She suddenly stopped and I heard her talked to someone from on the left of our house. "Oh it's nice to meet you Susan!" Yada yada yada.

I turned to my phone, but my ears perked up when I heard her say, "Oh he can? That would be amazing!" I gave my mom a confused look and got out of the car. I squinted my eyes to see our neighbor next door, Susan, going back inside to grab her son. Rodrick.

"Mom?" I turned to her and gave her a wide eyed sarcastic smile. "What's that about mom?" I crossed my eyes to my chest.

"Well honey, I really do not want to take you to the mall. Susan, like the angel she is, told me that her son that came and helped us move in could drive you. Isn't that exciting."

"Oh yeah. Very VERY exciting. But mom-"

"Heyyy kitty! Ready for a ride?" Oh lord. I looked to the left to see Rodrick. Swinging the keys to his van, that had 'Loaded Diaper' written on it, on the loop.

I looked to my mom and she winked to me. "You kids have fun okay?!" She said, opening the door to go back inside. I put my hand on my forehead and sighed.

I looked to Rodrick and he smirked. "Alright Y/N! Looks like we're going to the mall! Together!" I walked around my moms car and walked to his van. He ran up to the other side to unlock it.

I got in. Took my seatbelt and strapped myself in.

"Kitty? Really? In front of my mother Rodrick?" I sighed and gave him a 'I'm so done with this already' look.

He licked his lips and started up the van. "You don't like it?"

"Of course I don't asshole." I put my hand on the side of my head and rested it.

"Oh c'mon. No need to be moody. Besides, I think your mom likes me. She's hot by the way." I rolled my eyes and hit his arm.

"I'm not getting any younger here. Drive." I practically demanded.

"Wow. Okay I'm going. Feisty." He put in a CD and played a band I wasn't familiar of, but it was still good.

I'm never driving with him again. He hit almost 3 mail boxes on our way into town and didn't stop at a stop sign.

"Hey what band is this?" I questioned. I my really wasn't bad.

"Why? Is it good?" He asked eagerly.

"Yeah actually. They aren't bad." I said. He laughed and began to chew on the inside of his cheek.

"Alright! We're here Y/N. Our beloved mall in Plainview." He said.

"Yeah thank god. I'm driving us back and I'm not taking no for an answer. You are a terrible driver." I said walking through the entrance.

"Fine. I'll let you just this once. But if you wreck it, it's your fault." He said opening the door for me.

"Wow such a gentleman. Yeah no shit it'll be my fault. But I think you're most likely to crash than I am." I laughed.

"Oh yeah? I bet you thought that was funny."

"That's cause it was." I said. We got to the center of the mall and I saw a clothing shop near us. It seemed pretty cool in there, so I told Rodrick I was going into there.
