[•]- Special Chapter (You don't have to read the special chapters but it is recommended)

Present Day

Robbie was in a small French villa, it was reminiscent of the one his parents owned in real life. Vera and Henry had a successful wine business and their villa in France was where everything with that business took place.

Robbie danced throughout the hallways. The sound of an old French song blasted through the beautiful hallways that were covered in different paintings and family photos. His fathers record player was at the highest volume possible. The record spun slowly as the French song echoed throughout the villa. Robbie sang along with song, his knowledge of the French language showing exponentially.

Robbie spun in circles and threw his arms up his hands making a snapping motion. Robbie stopped in front of one of the many paintings that hung on the wall. It was a Monet painting; a replica of the original, but it looked almost exactly like the original painting. The painting was called Impression, Sunrise and Robbie loved the painting. He stared at the painting for a moment but was distracted by the sound of the song ending. Robbie turned around and looked towards his fathers office, where the record player sat.

Robbie's eyebrows furrowed. That typically didn't happen. It had only happened a couple of times before. The record the started again but instead of the French song something else echoed throughout the hallways. The sound of his sisters voice solemnly spoke throughout the hallways.

Robbie knew that this meant his sister was most likely visiting him in the hospital. "Hey I don't know if you can hear me, but I wanted to apologize for not visiting you for... well a long time. We moved to Washington but now we're back and I've just had to build up the courage" Robbie's eyebrows furrowed at the first statement. Robbie wasn't aware that his family moved to Washington and then moved back. Claire never told him that during her last visit. The second statement just made Robbie laugh.

"Aunt Claire came to visit you. She misses you I can tell. You're gonna be shocked to hear this but Gossip Girl is back. I know you used to visit the old website because you were fascinated with the writing so I thought you'd find her return interesting." Robbie wasn't shocked to learn that his Aunt came to visit. Just a couple of weeks ago her voice echoed through the hallways just like Ally's voice was doing now. The Gossip Girl thing did shock Robbie. Robbie was fascinated with Gossip Girl. Her way with words always interested Robbie so to hear that she was back was cool. He wasn't surprised in the slightest. It was only a matter of time.

Ally didn't say much else. She just spoke about Thanksgiving and how she wished Robbie would be awake by then. He did too. French music echoed once again and Robbie knew that Ally was most likely gone at this point. Robbie wasn't dancing anymore. Robbie just walked to his dads office and sat in one of the wooden chairs in front of his fathers desk.

He was thinking. For awhile he didn't want to wake up from his coma. Robbie was entirely aware of the fact that he was in a coma. And for the longest time he actually didn't care. He felt free and happy. His conscious was in his families French villa that he hadn't visited in years. French songs blasted through the corridors every second and he could eat all the fresh fruit that grew in their orchards whenever he wanted. He was actually happy. But the second Ally's voice came from the record player all of those old feelings that he felt when he first fell into the coma returned.

Robbie missed his sister. He missed his longing to become a poet and take over the family wine company. He missed the spontaneous family vacations, going to school, endlessly browsing through the Gossip Girl website, writing poetry and imagining what it would be like to publish it for the world to see. This realization was spawning within him. He missed so many things about life and for so long he just pushed it down to point where he felt nothing, even before the coma he was shoving his emotions and his feelings down.

Robbie, for the first time in years had a goal. Something he wanted to achieve so badly. He wanted to wake up. He was going to wake up. And he was going going to wake up soon. He had Thanksgiving dinner to look forward too after all.

Authors Note: Okay this is going to be the final special chapter for awhile. This chapter is obviously not a reflection of what it is actually probably like to be in coma. I did some research and learned that sometimes people can be conscious when they are in a coma so I applied that here. I've never been in a coma so I don't know what it's like so I kind of just went off when I wrote this chapter. The next chapter will be longggg. It's going to be the Thanksgiving chapter too. So that means lots of drama is about to unfold so buckle up because these next couple of chapters are going to be intense.
