"You got the flowers, yeah?"
"Yeah. Made me sneeze like 40 fuckin' times, though."
"Quit complaining Max, get over here."
Max places the bouquet of multicolored flowers in front of the headstone, backing away, seeing the sight in front of him as he held onto Gwen's hand. He would think at 16 that he wouldn't do that anymore, but for something like this, he didn't care. Gwen wraps an arm around Max, pulling him close as they both sigh.
"6 years today. I still can't believe it."
"Me neither."
"Alright, I don't wanna sit here and sob, let's go."
"....Okay, Max. I'll go start the car." Gwen walks over to the car, starting it up, letting Max say what he needs to say.
"Love you, dad."
