Pushing myself up into a sitting position I cradle Maia close not taking my eyes of her, she is so tiny and perfect. There's a soft knock at the door and Eric walks in with Four "Hey, how you feeling?" I smile glancing up "Great. Four meet your niece, Maia." he reaches out and I hand her over leaning against Eric when he sits next to me "Hi Maia, I'm your uncle." I giggle "Who would have thought a baby would bring out the soft sides in too of the most fearsome members of Dauntless." Four chuckles handing Maia back to me "She looks just like you." I nod slightly and he clears his throat "I'll come back later." he kisses my forehead before leaving.
However his place is quickly filled by B/F/N "Awww shes gorgeous. And so tiny." I laugh and she sits in the chair next to the bed with Maia in her arms "How are you feeling?" I sigh "Tired mostly." she nods cooing at Maia "She defiantly took after you Y/N, still trying to see how Eric could produce something so cute." I cough to try and hide my laugh while Eric glares at her making us both laugh "Kidding, lighten up a bit."
She hands Maia to Eric and stands "Well I'd best get back to work, but you can bet I'll be back." she leaves and I lean my head on Eric's shoulder looking down at our daughter "Shes going to grow up so fast isn't she?" he nods "No ones ever going to be good enough for her." I laugh batting his arm "Maybe she'll find a tall, handsome instructor just like I did." he chuckles turning and kissing me gently "I love you and I love our little family." I grin "Even Four?" he snorts "I tolerate Four." Maia starts wailing and the nurse bustles in "She must be hungry." I nod and Eric hands her to me so I can feed her.
