Unexpected visitor

"How are you feeling?" I sigh wrapping my arms around his waist "Fine, just tired." Eric kisses my forehead gently placing a hand on my stomach "Tiny baby bump." I roll my eyes "It'll grow." he nods "And your beauty will not fade. I don't care how much your body will change I love you heart and soul." I feel tears leaking down my face and concern instantly fills his face "What hurts?" I giggle "Nothing hurts, just stupid hormones." I yawn "If only everyone else knew how much of sweetheart you are."

He chuckles "My reputation would be ruined." I shrug snuggling into his chest "I love you." 

"I love you too." There is a loud knock at the door making the both of us groan "I'll be right back love." he stands walking out the bedroom to the door.

"Max?"

"Eric." I can't here their conversation after that as they switch to hushed tones. I sit up when Eric stalks into the room worry written all over his face "You have a visitor. He is not leaving until he sees you." I stand "Eric, who is it?" his face turns grave "Your father." I feel my eyes widen and take a step back "He's here?" he nods "Does Four know?"

"Not that I know of." I nod fiddling with my rings "I don't think we should tell him." Eric sighs "I don't particularly want you to meet him after what you told me but he is the leader of Abnegation and holds a lot of power." I nod slightly "Will you come with me?" he smiles warmly "Of course love, did you really think I would let you meet him alone?" I shake my head and pull on my leather jacket "Alright I'm as ready as I'll ever be." 

He grips my hand tightly as we walk into the corridor "Sorry about this, he's waiting in the office at the top." I nod "I suppose I should apologize for him. What did he say?" he frowns "Not much only demanded a meeting with you. Threatened to have the whole bloody government involved said it was a private family matter." Eric grips my hand tightly before letting go and slinging a casual arm around my shoulders as we walk through the compound. 

There are two guards standing by the door and Max leans casually against the opposite wall "Take your rings of." I look at Eric confused "He should know as little as possible." I nod and take them of slipping them onto the necklace I am wearing "Lets get this over with." Eric pushes open the door allowing me to walk in first, my father is standing by the far corner glaring out the small window his hands collapsed behind his back.

When he turns there is a cold smile plastered on his face "Y/N, you look wonderful. Please sit." It feels strange being told to sit when he is the unwelcome guest but cautiously I take a seat Eric taking up a protective stance behind me. "Leave us." Eric says nothing merely crossing his arms "He stays." he shrugs "Fine. I have come to bring you home." he sits opposite and I give him a cold stare "I am home." he chuckles darkly "Your home is with Abnegation. Now I know faction before blood and all that but I need you back home. Your brother is useless to me now but you could still be of some use. You see I know what your test results were and you wouldn't want that getting out, would you?"

I shift around uncomfortable "So you come home, no has to know anything. We will say that Dauntless kicked you out and me being my selfless self decided to take you back in." I shake my head "No." he frowns "I doubt there is anything to keep you here, I will have it all arranged." I take a deep breath "Marcus I am not going back to Abnegation. My home is here," I glance at Eric who nods slightly "My home is here with my brother and my husband."

He blanks "I don't see a ring." I take them out from under my shirt "Who is he? Probably a no good loser, who else would want you?" he laughs but stops instantly when Eric leans over him growling "I suggest you show my wife some respect. I don't give a damn who you are no one speaks to her in that way." I stand pulling him away by the hand "Its okay." I turn to the man in front of us "Marcus I suggest you leave, please don't come back. This is my home and I want nothing to do with you." 

Standing he straightens his jacket "Well I'll be going then. I warn you though you should have taken my offer. I'll keep your secret but only for my benefit." he storms out the room and Eric instantly wraps his arms tightly around me "He's an asshole." I nod into his chest "Thanks for being here."
