I looked around the store. No sign of Derek. Whatever. I picked out the clothes I liked, while Shirley and Elle were in the dressing rooms trying their selections on. I have alwayed shopped here when Derek and I were dating for I know my size pretty well. I went up to the register at the front of the store. The guy at the desk kept eyeing me. I felt pretty uncomfortable. I awkwardly paid for my clothes and when I turned to walk away he said, " Watch your back Lucy."

I stopped dead in my tracks, "Sorry?"

He wore a side smile on his face and didn't respond or look up again. I slowly turned back around and slowly walked away. What the heck did he mean by that?

Shirley and Elle were waiting for me outside the Cotton On. "Whats wrong Lucy?" Elle said. "You look like you just saw a ghost." Exclaimed Shirley. I turned my head to look into the store. The man wasn't there anymore. "A guy in there just told me to watch my back. I have no idea what that means."

It was almost 9pm and I was laying on my bed scrolling through Tumblr. I swear, it's so afflicting. I can spend hours on this. The funny posts made my day and pictures of my favourite boy band made my feels come to life. One if the boys looked an awful like Harry. Harry. I quickly picked up my phone and called him. I was nervous, I was so awkward on the phone. The suspenseful ringing were holding out. "Hello?" I had chills running though my spine. A raspy low voice sounded in my ears. "Hey Harry, it's Lucy."

I heard a smile though the phone, "Hey beautiful. How are you?" I loved the way he said that. "I should be the one asking you that. I feel bad about the other night. What did your mom do?" My heart anxious of what he would say. He sighed, "My mom is thinking about switching me to a different school." "What?! No I don't want that to happen!"

He chuckled," I know love, she doesn't want us around each other. But you know what? Even if she did take me to a different school, I would still come to see you." I jumped, "Really?" I smiled then blushed. "Hey I told you there was something special about you the first time you can over. I'm not going to let a mid aged woman stop this." I laughed, "I'm glad you think of my that way, Harry. You're pretty special yourself." "Good! Now look out your window."

I raised my eyebrow, "What?" The phone line cut out.

I scrambled from my bed and to my window. Harry was leaning on his range rover with a bouqet of red roses. He was staring at my window with a big smile on his face. He did a small wave in my direction. I rushed out of my room and slammed the front door shut. I ran to Harry and embraced him in my arms with our foreheads touching. He put his hand on my cheek. "I'm sorry for my mom upsetting you the other night. I want to make it up to you." He handed me the roses. They smelt wonderful.

"Really? How?" He opened his car door, "Let me take you out." He smiled. I looked at what he was wearing, then what I was wearing. I was wearing a tank top and sweats. It was freezing. "Hold on, let me change!" I ran back to my room and put on Leater boots, black skinnies, a cream colour sweater with a chestnut scarf. This looked pretty good for last minute. I don't think I had anything to match Harry's Blazer.

"Harry where are we going?" It was a love hate thing this surprises. We have been driving for twenty minutes. I was just happy that it was a day off of school tomorrow. The teachers had meetings all day. Hallelujah. "Just around the corner Lu."

I chuckled, "You said that ten minutes ago." Harry turned in the radio. "Remember our first at ride?" He looked over at me. A smile formed on my face in rememberance. I nodded,"Hiw can I forget?" I put my hand on his thigh. He looked over again. I guess that took him a little of guard.

Then, I look out and there was a Ferris wheel, lights and people. "Is it there Harry?" I pointed. He did a little nod. Yay! I loved the fair! We parked a ways away from the area. Harry and I walked and talked. I told him what the register guy said at Cotton On. His eyes widened and was pretty concerned. I assured him that it was probably nothing.

A cool breeze came in and I shivered. Harry looked at me and took off his blazer. The muscles in his back and arms were definitely noticeable. We stopped as he put it around me. We walked another five minutes, then bushes rustled. I heard heavy breathing. I stopped. Something didn't feel right. Then several tall dark figures came out of the bushes. I froze. They came at us. Harry stood his ground pulling me behind him. We were surrounded. There were about seven men with masks on. They grabbed my arm and pulled me away from Harry's back. I struggled to hang on but they pried my fingers open. They took Harry to the ground. Kicking him. His stomach, punching his face. I tried to get away, but one if the masked men held me back. Both of his hands tightened around my arms. How can no body know about this? Can they not here my yells? "Harry!" I yelled. He tried to stand up. The ring leader pinned him to the ground.

He soar in his face. He punched him in the face. "Somebod-" my mouth was covered by a large hand. I could fight anymore. All I can do was watch. Harry trying to defend himself. Harry eventually knocked one of they guys out. I head butt the guy pinning me against him. He let me go in pain. Pushed him backwards. The man held his nose as blood rushed down his face. "Hey! Knock it off!" I looked over my shoulder and there was another man running towards us. I looked over at Harry on the floor again. The mob retreated back into the trees. Then I heard a car screech into the distance.
