"Harry I can't get to you!" I tried to run towards him, but I was running in place. Harry was standing there waving at me. "Lucy come on, I can't stand here forever." I reached out to touch him but another figure came and carried me away. It was Derek, his eyes were red and had an evil grin on his face. I looked up at Harry, he smiled and walked away. "No!" I cried.

Knock knock...

I eyes flew open. Tears running down my cheeks. Sweat was dripping down my neck. I glanced at my clock. 6:30 pm. Wow did I really take a nap for four hours?

Knock... Knock...

I hurried down stairs and opened the door. There stood Harry, flowers, candles lit around him. He was dressed in really nice clothes. I felt a little out of place. I was still in my casual day- at- the - park outfit. "What are you doing here?" I asked. I don't mind that he was here, I just didn't know why.

"Lucy Kate, what I told you today about us not being ready for dating, was a really douche bag thing to say. When Derek threatened to take you away from me, made me realize that I want you and that I never was to lose you." He gave me the red roses. "Lucy, will you be my girlfriend?"

Everything he had just said to me was still processing. I smiled the biggest I could. "Of course I will Harold." I grabbed his face and I kissed him long and passionately. I was waiting for this! I was so happy! I pulled away. "What about your mom?"

"I guess I didn't think about her." He ran his fingers through his hair. "Who says she has to know." I gave him a cheeky smile. Harry laughed. Both of our hands met and he played with my fingers. He leaned down and kissed them.

Nothing could bring me down right now. I got the guy I wanted. "I should probably go love, I'll see you at school tomorrow." He gave me a sweet kiss and walked towards his car.

I didn't blow out the candles. The lit him up perfectly. I closed the door and walked towards the stairs.

"Wow you look happy." My father said, looking up from his paper work. "Oh believe me, I am." I blushed. "A boy? Who is he?" He started to get up from his chair. Oh no, father mode activated. "His name is Harry, and he's wonderful." My father rolled his eyes. "As long as he makes you happy. Goodnight honey." I gave him a kiss goodnight. "See you tomorrow dad."

I ran up the stairs. I'm pretty sure if I wanted to I could fly.
