My eyes shot over to him. "You know Harry?" Emotions threatened to drown me. He knows Harry? How? He's he heard from him since he left?
"Yeah, I'm his best friend. He told me to look after you while he was away." He said in his thick Irish accent.
"I don't need a babysitter thank you." I folded my arms.
A stranger with a comb over, thick bottle glasses and suspenders entered the choir room.
"Hi I'm Mr. Thornberg, I'll be substituting you guys for a couple of days."
He sits at Margeson's desk in the back and gets on his smart phone.
Yes we actually won't be doing anything.
Jordan turns to Niall, "Hey man, I'm Jordan and she's an emotional wreck." I shot a mean look at him. "Don't mess with me Hernandez!" Jordan chuckled and turned towards one of his buddies on the other side of him.
Niall looks over, "So you haven't heard from him?" I shook my head no. He puts a hand on my shoulder, "I'm here for you, Okay?" I nodded.
I guess I wouldn't mind if he stuck around, it would be good to have some company.
Through out the class period we talk and told each other about ourselves. He was on football until he injuries his knee. Now he sings full time.
Which I'm pretty impressed with!
"So how close were you with Harry?" He hesitated to ask. I sighed,"We were really close, I just still can't believe hes gone." He put his hand on my shoulder, "I know Lu, I know." The way he touched my back reminded me of Harry, his light finger tips traces my back, back and forth. I couldn't take this anymore.
I put my face in my hands and tears streaming down my face. "Don't cry Lucy. I'm here for you." He whispered in my ear. He wrapped his arms around me in comfort.

The day dragged on and the bell finally rang. The hallways became more crowded by the second. The buzz of everyone talking about their day and the latest gossip. I was going to meet Elle by the big tree in the middle if the campus.
I noticed that it was getting warmer as the weeks pasted. That's a good, I really needed to tan! "Hey girl!" Elle sang. "How was your day?" I gave her a look, she knowingly nodded. "I met someone today." I admitted.
"Really? What's his name?" She said excitedly. "His name is-"
"Hey lu!" A blonde boy appeared. "Elle, this is Niall." I said. "Hi!" She said. Just then a tall buff guy came behind Elle. He hugged her from behind. She jumped a little but excepted the hug, she turned around that he leaned in for a kiss.
That must have been her new boyfriend. Niall and I stood there kind of awkward. "Hey Lucy, I'll walk you to your car. If that's okay." Niall said hesitantly. I nodded and we walked side by side to the student parking lot.
We stood besides my car. "I was wondering I'd you would like to hang out this weekend. Maybe my place?" Niall said with a smile. I thought about it for a second. "Sure, that would be fun!"
"Great! Here my number, he takes my phone from my hand and puts his number, then he takes a funny picture of himself for the photo ID. He gave my phone back and pulled me into a goodby hug. "I'll see you tomorrow." He whispered. His raspy voice sent chills down my spine.
