Chapter four: Paw Patrol and Chrono to the rescue!

Chrono's POV:

I didn't know where the elevator was going, but I was scared when it stopped momentarily. It was so dark, I could barely see anything. I felt something lift my forepaws up causing me to stand on my back legs. I soon had a thick shirt being fit over my head, causing me to struggle a bit. After a while, the shirt was on, causing me the fall on my backside. I tried to turn over only to find that there was something on my back keeping me on it. I felt like an overturned turtle as I tried to turn, something snapped onto my head that felt like a helmet with a glass eye guard. It wasn't over yet as boots were fastened to my paws. I was finally able to get off my back, and stumbled around in the boots I was in.

All of a sudden, the elevator powered up again and started to lift up. I was able to see the other pups again with the sun shining through the elevator, and they were in different outfits as well. Chase was in the same outfit from yesterday. Marshall's outfit was a bit similar to the one he wore yesterday, for starters it had more yellow highlights and he had a baseball cap instead of his helmet. Rocky was wearing a green cap with a recycle symbol on it, a green vest with a green backpack as well. Zuma was wearing an orange helmet with holes in it, along with an orange vest and backpack that looked like a diving suit. Rubble was in yellow construction worker's cap, a yellow vest and a backpack that had a yellow claw shovel. Skye was wearing a pink aviator cap that matched her vest, on her back was a backpack that looked like it had jets in it.

The elevator soon reached the top, and as the doors opened the pups jumped out and formed a line from left to right. I walked out, having a little trouble due to the boots on my paws. I sat next to Marshall or just laid since these stupid boots were hard to deal with. Ryder looked at me, causing me to smile nervously as he walked over.

"How'd Chrono get Chase's spy gear?" Ryder asked the pups who shrug.

"Well, I accidentally bumped into him sending him into the elevator," Marshall admitted.

"Still I never programmed the elevator to give any but you pups your gear." Ryder proclaimed.

"Maybe it was a malfunction?" Chase proclaimed. "You have been upgrading it with new gear."

"Question, why am I in this tight, very tight vest?" I asked trying to bite the vest off.

"Well, it seems the elevator malfunctioned and gave you Chase's spy gear. Which is unfortunate." Ryder proclaimed, causing me to tilt my head sideways.

"Why? What's our mission Ryder?" Rocky asked.

"The mission is a bit difficult," Ryder began. "It seems that Jake's mountain had an avalanche during its tourist season. Trapping countless people under the a few inches of snow. We're going to need all the pups for this job to help out. Skye we'll need your helicopter to airlift any survivors."

"This pup's gotta fly!" Skye exclaimed though I wasn't paying attention as I tried to remove my boots.

"Rubble, we'll need your shovel to dig people out of the snow." Ryder continued.

"Rubble on the double." Rubble proclaimed.

"Chase we were going to need your gear for any trapped ones," Ryder explained.
