Chapter Five: Time is not on his side

Here's Paw Patrol: Wolf Rebirth, where we actually find out some info on Chrono's watch, and some enemies he may encounter. Also I apologize for the long wait for due to me trying to find a job. So enjoy this product, I've been under the weather so it may not be much.

Chapter five: Time is not on his side

Chrono's POV

It was about a week or so since the avalanche incident, just about everyone was wounded but nothing serious. Ryder made me a Reserve member of the Paw Patrol in case any of the pups get sick or injured. After we came back from Jake's mountain I was given a tour of Adventure Bay and met a lot of interesting people. For starters, I met Alex's grandpa, Mr. Porter, who is looking after Alex. I also met Captain Turbot along with his sea friend Wally. It is strange that he likes the same type a food a seal likes. I also met the mayor of Adventure Bay and her pet chicken, Chickaletta. All I have to say is this town was extremely unreal since there was no crime.

I laid in the Lookout's lobby while the Paw Patrol were on a mission, leaving me alone to my thoughts. I started to think or at least try to remember something of my old life since I keep drawing a blank. But the one thing that I am pondering is what the heck is with this pocket watch. I took off my collar to look at the watch with confusion. I tapped the top part of it that felt like it sent out a weird wave that made me dizzy. My ears twitched to the sounds of silence, which was confusing due to the fact it was full of bird tweets.

I placed my collar back on as I walked outside to see a strange sight; the Paw Patrol were just up the driveway yet they were frozen in place. I walked over to them, curiously seeing Ryder ahead of them I went up to him first.

"Uh hey Ryder, did you blow out a tire or something?" I asked as silence was his only response. "Ryder?" I climbed onto the hood of his ATV and waved a paw in his face. "You okay?" I jumped off the hood and walked over to the other Paw Patrol members to see they were the same way. I looked at my pocket watch to see that it had stopped ticking. I began to wonder if time is frozen all over. I began to run down the driveway with the strange notion someone was watching me.

As I reach the Vet Clinic Katie worked at I saw the door was open half way as someone walked in with their pet. I looked in to see Katie trying to get her cat Cali to take a bath. I was really confused, time to make an assessment of what has happened to me the past week and a half; I have been turned into a wolf pup, met a bunch of dogs that have the responsibilities of the average government, and now I apparently learned to stop time. How has my life gotten so crazy in this short amount of time? I then began to walk around and see what other things were going on in frozen time.

I came up to Mr. Porter's Restaurant and Grocery Store to see Mr. Porter throwing a box in mid throw as he looked shocked by something. I turned to see what he was staring at and I saw Alex falling from his treehouse in mid-free fall. "Oh man." I ran behind Mr. Porter and began to push him underneath his grandson so he could catch him. I wondered if anyone else is in trouble like this? I might as well check since time is on my side. I ran to docks to find Captain Turbot feeding fish to Wally, I smirked mischievously as I began to think of something funny.

After about what felt like an hour or so, I had put Wally on the docks throwing fish to a well place Captain. I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of it. My joy wore off as I felt a presence breath down my neck causing me to shiver in fear. 'Please let this be a dream, please, please, please!' I thought as I slowly turned to see a yellow wolf with a collar that had a pocket watch just like mine but it was cracked. I panicked and ran off only for another yellow wolf to jump in front of me while a few more began to surround me, there were six wolves in total.
