The New Path

New Meeting

     Kiara quickly ran out of Pride Rock, in hurry to find her brother. After everything that went down at Pride Rock last night and just today, she had to see her brother. Kiara saw the change in her bro ever since he joined Cobra Kai. He used be this young, loving, caring, shy, quiet little brother but this new version of him is an alternative universe of him.

Kiara passed by a few hills, tree's, and even the water hole but he found nobody there. Kiara sighed, she was starting to lose hope. Kion has developed a skill that he can disappear, like he can turn invisible anytime he wants. Kiara gave up and began walking back to Pride Rock, at one point she had to go through a hill in order to go since there are multiple pathways to her home.

That was when Kiara looked to the left and saw something that confused her. She saw a cub, walking at the edge of the Outlands to the Pride Lands, he looked a lot similar to Kion except his fur seemed darker and the tuff on his hair was brown. Kiara  has never seen someone like him before, then a thought came to her mind.

Maybe he was one of Kions Cobra Kai friends? Many questions came to Kiaras mind but decided that if she wants to find her brother, she will take every chance.

"Um, excuse me!" She called out and the cub stopped walking and turned to the direction of the voice. Kiara quickly walked up to him to his shock.

"Don't worry, I need to ask you something." She said, sounding calm has possible and the cub seemed to relax.

"What is it?" He asked.

"I was wondering if you've seen my brother around?" She asked in a hopeful voice but the cub looked her with a confused stare.

"Um...no? Why would I see a cub similar to you around the outlands?" He responded.

Wow, no need to be a rude jerk about it. Kiara deadpanned to herself.  

"So...I take it your from the Outlands?" She asked, but not without annoyance in her voice.

"Yeah...I am. Again, I have no Idea where your brother is and I honestly don't care." The cub said much to Kiaras annoyance.

"Jeez, what're you being a jerk for?" Kiara confronted.

"Maybe because I'm not in a good mood and I don't want to talk anyone who seems annoying." The cub said.

ANNOYING!? Kiara roared in her mind.

"Y'know, you're acting a lot like my brother right now." Kiara whispered to herself which the cub heard much to his confusion.

"Whatever, see you never." Kiara said as she walked away and the cub scoffed and walked the opposite direction.

"Yo, Kovu!"

The cub looked to his his friends walking behind a hill to see him.

"Oh there you are!" One of them said, happy to see him.

"What're you doing ditching here? C'mon, we've got work to do!" One of the other friends said with a chuckle and Kovu smiled at them back.

"Who's that?" One of the other friends pointed at Kiara who was walking away.

"Oh, just some weird girl that had to ask me some things." Kovu shrugged off and every single one of his friends gave him a smirk.

"Ooooooooh? I feel like there's something there. Lover boy."

"Is she your girlfriend?"

"Oooooh! She looks nice from here. Nice strike man!"

His friends teased and Kovu angrily blushed at that.

"Shut up! She was honestly annoying and I actually hope to never see her again." Kovu said as his friends sighed in "disappointment."

"Whatever, we got a whole day of fun ahead of us, so lets go." Kovu said and his other friends agreed and walked away.

Kiara, who was in the distance, turned her head in the last second to see Kovu and his friends walking away with their backs turned and Kiara frowned and turned back to walk home.

With Kion

Kion was hanging out with Luna right now, they were walking through the forest while Kion told her the news and she cutely pouted.

"Awww man! So I have to wait before I join?" She whined in a funny matter and Kion giggled at her.

"It's only gonna be a little while, but you'll join in no time." Kion said with a grin which made Luna smile.

"Y'know, it seems that others have find out what you did and word has spread about it." Luna said.

"Meh, I don't really care. Whatever they believe will believe, I don't care what others think about it." Kion scoffed which made Luna frown at him a little bit.

"I mean...wouldn't you want to do anything without thinking about what others will say and think?" Luna asked and Kion looked at her with a slight nervous look. He didn't really know how to respond to that.

Kion stopped walking and Luna looked at him with a bit of worry.

"Luna...it doesn't matter what I do. Everywhere I go, I'm always judged." Kion said much to her confusion.

"Everyone can sense that I'm somewhat different than them." Kion admitted, referring to his "family".

"I can't go anywhere without being compared to them. And you already know what they've done to me, I can't forgive them...it was too late for them to apologize...that's why I joined Cobra Kai." Kion explained and Luna listened to his story.

"I always have to worry about what others think and what they think but now...I don't care anymore. I've decided to only look out for those who I care about. I'll do anything to protect them, I don't care what others think about it." Kion said as he looked at Luna who looked at him also, a little bit in shock but then looked down at he ground sadly, she was now feeling bad going against him.

"I-I'm sorry...I didn't mean to against you like that."

Kion was in shock, she thought she was going against him because she had a different thought?

"Woah, woah, woah! What're you apologizing for?" He asked, surprised by her which Luna looked up at him. Kion made sure to keep his voice calm.

"Look, just because you had a different thought doesn't mean you're going against me. You're my girlfriend, no a robot that I can control. I want you to talk to me about anything, cause I'm here to listen to you." Kion said as he walked up and hugged.

Luna couldn't help but hug back with a warm smile and couldn't help but think of one thing in that moment.

Yup, I definitely found the best boyfriend in the world
