Waving Kaz off for her date with Danny brings all of the girls such joy. She was fucked over by Toby. All I want is for her to find her dream man - I think the whole nation wants that too. It's clear she's a favourite in the public eye as she and Aaron were saved from the public vote.

" AJ?" I ask bravely, approaching the daybed where she and Chloe are chatting. "Can I pull you for a minute?"

"Of course. Where do you want to go?"

"Let's go by the pool."

At least if she annoys me I can shove her in.

"You all okay?" I ask her as we sit down. I can tell she's nervous to speak to me. It's as if she knows she's done wrong.

"I'm good."

"I just wanted to see where your head was at? I've seen you pull a few boys for a chat."

"I meant to come and talk to you. I've spoken to Teddy and had a little chat with Liam tonight. But it's pretty clear to everyone that the boy I want to get to know is-,"

"Hugo." I finish her sentence. "I haven't got a problem with you wanting to get to know him. I just wish you had spoken to me and let me know before your chat last night."

"Why should I have spoken to you?" She asks. "I get it. You two are strong. But this is a game at the end of the day, and each relationship will be tested."

"I understand that," I tell her. I don't appreciate the sass in her voice, but I'm going to fight for Hugo. "I'm fine with you chatting to him. However, in the game yesterday you did come across very strong when you went to kiss him."

"So what? I didn't snog his face off or anything."

"I just think it was a bit sneaky." I shrug. "You made a very big move albeit just a game. I just wish you had said something to me considering you're a 'girls girl'."

"Don't throw my words back at me." She demands heatedly. " I said-,"

She's cut off by a text. The vibration comes through my phone.

"For god's sake," I mutter under my breath, feeling the anger bubble up inside me. I swipe up on the notification. "I've got a text!"

"Gemma. Danny has chosen you to go on a date. Please get ready to leave the Villa. #pipedream #lovetriangle."

Seriously? This is not what I needed right now.

"Well enjoy your date." AJ spits at me. "If you don't mind, I'm going to go and pull Liam for a chat."

Faye and Sharon help me to get ready for my date. Sharon straightens the ends of my hair whilst Faye reapplies my lip gloss.

"How are you feeling?" Faye asks. "Excited?"

"I'm pissed off, girls. AJ and I were arguing literally as the text come through."

"Why? Because she tried to kiss Hugo?"

"She just seemed a bit too comfortable around him."

"Well good on you for keeping your man close. Just try and enjoy your date with Danny. I'd die to be in your position right now." Sharon comments.

"Exactly! Your sexy ass got picked to go on a date and AJ didn't. If that doesn't prove anything I don't know what will."

The girls are right. I do need to try and make the best out of the situation. Love is why I'm here.

"Just make sure she stays away from him tonight."

Hugo P.O.V

I wait for Gemma at the bottom of the stairs. She approaches the Villa doors with all of the girls crowding behind her. She looks beautiful as always in a floor-length orange dress.
