"better go to sleep. your flight is at 6 in the morning. wouldn't want to be tired for it. goodnight kids!" mum said as she turned off the lights. my eyes were getting heavy and i could hear the boys faintly talk amongst themselves. i heard my name mentioned a couple of times but brushed it off and just went to bed. wouldn't want to miss my flight.

"don't wake her up. she's going to be grumpy" i whisper shouted at the two boys who had a water bottle each. "well i'm bored so we're waking her up" charlie shot back slowly putting water in her neck. she woke up straight away. oh boy this isn't going to be good.

"what the fuck" i rubbed my eyes as i felt a cold liquid go down my neck. i open my eyes to the two boys snickering. i grabbed the nearest pillow and began hitting them. "i. could've. gotten. more. sleep. if. you. ass.holes. didn't. wake. me. up." hitting them each as i said a word. they quickly began apologising and tried to use their hands as a shield from the pillow. i smirked at them. i look over and saw guy laughing at the two idiots. i shot a quick smile at him before lying back down.
"i'm sorry! we were bored and wanted to talk" "you couldn't have talked to yourselves?" "its more fun with you" "yeah whatever" we talked for the next hour until my alarm went off and i got out and started getting ready. i went into the bathroom and put on some sweats and a hoodie. we met at the dining table where we silently ate breakfast, too tired to talk. it was a 15 minute drive to the airport so i slept for most the way. occasionally getting woken up by the annoying trio at the back. we got in the the airport and checked our bags in and went through security. we then tried to find the team for about 10 mins. airport was too big in my defence. i saw connie sitting down with julie and went to sit with them. we tiredly said goodmorning to eachother and began engaging into a conversation. i dozed off halfway through it though.
"boo" a faint voice whispered into my ear causing me to jump a little. i turn around and saw my blonde friend smiling down at me trying not to laugh. "guy germaine. you scared the shit out of me" i say back. "that was my plan" he winked back and took a seat next to me. god this kid. we started going into our conversation. after like 15 mins, an announcement was made over the speakers saying that our flight was boarding so we all got up. we eventually got all checked and headed towards our seats. i sat on the window seat where the wing was until i saw a shadow cast over me. i look up and my eyes were met up with his crystal blue eyes. "mind if i sit here?" he nervously asked. i laughed. "yeah. wait no. yeah you can. you know what i'm just going to shut up." i was a mess. "so was that a yes?" he smiled. i nodded and he sat down next to me. we talked for a bit until they announced we were about to take off and the flight attendants did the safety check presentation. i looked at guy who was fidgeting an awful lot. he looked terrified. "hey are you okay?" i asked. he turned to look at me and shook his head. i figured he was scared of heights or taking off at least. i felt a hand grab mine and tried to hide the slight blush on my cheeks. "you'll be okay. i'm here" i smiled. he returned the smile and he seemed to relax a bit. after a couple minutes, we were in the air. guy was now more calm than before. i got tired after a while and started to fall asleep. i felt guys hand move my head to his shoulder and rested his head on top. i didn't take enough time to process anything that was happening. thank god cus i would've gotten red like crazy.

i was afraid. ever since i watched that one documentary on the plane that crashed, i hated flying. we were about to take off and without even thinking i grabbed aimees hand in panic. "you'll be okay. i'm here" she sweetly smiled. suddenly i wasn't as frightened as before.
i noticed aimee fell asleep. her position looked a bit uncomfortable so i rested her head on my shoulder and placed my head on top of hers. i noticed our hands were still together from when we took off and i couldn't help but smile. i really liked her. she was just perfect to me.
