"Are you going to walk me into a wall or something?" Sage asked, and Rafe laughed. "Or make me stub my toe on the stairs?" Sage asked.

Rafe had Sage blindfolded, again, guiding her up a few stairs with her hands in his.

"You weren't kidding about not letting me live that down, huh?" Rafe asked.

"Definitely not." Sage chuckled.

"Okay, wait here until I say." Rafe instructed, before Sage felt his hands drop hers. Sage heard a door open, and slam closed behind him.

Sage flinched, and reached out to find something to hold onto. Her anxiety started to flow through her body the longer she stood there blindfolded all alone.

"Okay, come in!" Rafe yelled from behind the closed door. Sage slid the blindfold off, and turned the doorknob.

The lights were off, and Sage looked around confused. The lights flicked on, and the Cameron household had been decorated in light pink birthday decor, balloons floating on the ceiling.

"Surprise!" An eruption of voices yelled, as they jumped out from their hiding places. Sage's eyes widened, and her hand flew over her mouth.

"Oh my God, what is all this?" Sage asked, looking over at Rafe.

"Happy Birthday baby." Rafe smiled, pulling her into him by her waist. He planted a soft kiss on her lips, and Sage smiled.

"You did this for me?" Sage asked, her eyes welling with tears. Rafe nodded, handing her a small gift bag. She pecked his lips, before she turned to see a blonde girl walking out with a cake, candles lit.

"Happy Birthday to you!" She started to sing. The rest of the room had joined in, and Sage smiled, awkwardly waiting for them to finish the song.

She blew out her candles, the blonde pulling Sage in for a tight hug. She handed Sage the cake, and Sage smiled.

"Thanks guys." She said, setting the cake down on the counter. She scanned the crowd for her best friends, seeking comfort in the people she felt most comfortable around, but she didn't see them.

Sage had always been nervous in large crowds, and hated being the center of attention more than anything. But Rafe didn't know that, the two only knowing each other a short amount of time.

"Let's get this fiesta started!" Topper yelled, jumping onto the kitchen counter with a red solo cup in his left hand. The crowd let out a loud cheer, before everyone started splitting up to do their own things.

Sage looked over at Rafe, who was silently seeking her approval for the party, because all he ever wanted to do was make her happy.

Sage scanned the house for her friends once more, and pursed her lips once she realized the odds of Rafe inviting the Pogue's to a party.
