Chapter 9
A promising opportunity
Charlie POV
As we were visiting the city, we had to stay in a hotel for the time being. It was one of those swanky 5 star hotels. The bathrooms had three different kinds of soap. I mean seriously, who has time for that. As Seviathan says 'just throw yourself into a soapy pool and call it a day'.
"So, how many days until the Arc League?" Asked Octavia.
"Um, less than a month, I believe" said Helsa.
"I think that Yuya said that we were going to meet someone named 'Nico Smiley'" said Seviathan. Someone then knocked at our door. Helsa then went to answer it to see this creepy dude with a weird moustache and yellow pin striped suit was standing there.
"Hello there" he said in a creepy voice.
KONK!
Helsa had whacked this guy over the head with a rolling pin.
"Ow! What did I do?" Asked the man.
"For creeping me out ya freakazoid", said Helsa. "Who are ya anyway?".
"My name is Nico Smiley", said the man. "And I've heard sooooooo many things about you lovely ladies".
"If Declan sent you", said Octavia. "Tell him You Show is still waiting for that public apology he and that crappy show owes them".
"Oh, don't worry about that", said Nico. "It'll be out in a few days, according to Declan. But, you four have victory ratings of 100%! I'm not sure how, but I am impressed".
"So why are you here, exactly?" Asked Octavia.
"I'm so glad you asked", said Nico. "You see, with the talk of four have become quite the talk topic. Simply because you not only defeat Lio's best and brightest, but you Ms. Magne were so close to beating Declan. Also, several people are shipping you and Yuya".
"Shipping?" Asked Charlie.
"Shipping is when you take two characters from a franchise and draw kinky fan art and write smutty fiction about them" said Helsa.
"But, I already have a girlfriend" said Charlie.
"Oh, Bisexual are we?", asked Nico curiously. "This could also bring to life diversity in the duel community".
"HEY! My sexuality is NOT to be put on display", shouted Charlie as her eyes turned slightly red. "If you want me to come out on a talk show, fine. But NOT as an advertisement".
"F-f-fair enough" said Nico.
"Besides, we all know that Yuya wants to bang that Zuzu chick" said Helsa.
"Oh yeah", said Seviathan. "Those two go together like PB and J".
"Yeah, they're made for each other" said Octavia.
"Oh my", said Nico. "You two are sure gossipy".
"With how powerful our parents are back home", said Charlie. "It's only natural that we know about and how to create gossip".
"Whoa, that's a handy skill", said Nico. "Anyways, I'm here because, Like Yuya, I want to be your manager. In fact, I've gotten a new name for your group; HELL'S REJECTS!".
"Okay, that's actually a cool name" said Charlie.
Unbeknownst to them, three devil-like creatures were looking at them through a telescope.
"Jesus, that guy is creepy" said the tallest one.

"Only that the creepy dude wants to be their manager", answered Moxxie. "Other than that, nothing really that interesting Millie".
"So now, all we do is wait for this shitty Arc League to begin so we can catch them", said the tall one. "We're getting that reward money or my name isn't Blitz. And I will not lose to those Word War Two fuckers and that eighties punk reject".
