Chapter 12 Before League Talk

Hello everybody in fanfic land. This will be the last chapter before the Arc League begins. Take your bets on who fights who I also got an idea for some songs that might be sung in the future. These include, but not limited to:

And, after the Arc League arc, a new one begins, called 'Yuya in hell'. I don't know if I talked about this yet, but basically, Charlie invites Yuya to live in hell for a year and a crap ton of crazy shenanigans ensue.

Chapter 12

Before league discussions

Skip had gathered all of the You Show students to the Arc duelling field. He had an announcement.

"I have an announcement", said Skip. "Thanks to Charlie and her friends, our popularity has rocketed up like, well, a rocket. Not only that, but ever since Charlie and the others went on that talk show, the Lio Institute has be under serious investigation".

"Not so perfect now are they?" Asked Octavia with a chuckle. Yuya then felt his duel disk/phone ring. Yuya then answered it.

"Hey guys", said Yuya. "Check out what my mom sent". Everyone looked over Yuya's shoulders to see Declan on the screen. He was sitting behind a podium and lots of press were there.

"I'd like to take this moment to apologies to the You Show Duel School for the accusations that were pressed against them", said Declan. "After interrogating some of my students, I am sad to say that they instigated the situation and this mystery assailant, who can some how manipulate fire, attacked them. As for compensation that You Show shall receive, they will receive a new state of the art Arc system".

"What about the rumour, that a cowboy broke into Lio and hacked into the systems and killed several staff members?" Asked a reporter.

"I am aware of that", answered Declan. "Funerals have been prepare and an investigation is underway". Yuya then turned it off.

"At least we got that apology now" said Seviathan.

"Well, back on topic", said Skip. "Let me recap the brackets. There are three devisions; Youth, Junior and Senior devision. Allie, Fredrick and Tate shall be competing in the youth devision. Yuya, Sora, Zuzu, Charlie, Helsa, Seviathan and Octavia will be competing in the junior devision. I see great things to come from this year. In fact, check this out". He then pulled out a tablet and pressed play. The tablet then showed Nico on a black background.

"Hello everyone", he said to whoever was watching it. "As you know, the Arc League begins in just one day. And for everyone from every duel school, it's time to meet the new rising stars. Introducing! HELL'S REJECTS!". It then showed a video of Charlie flying in the air with her wings before showing her demi-demon form.

"Charlie Magne; the Fallen Angel" said Nico.

"Say your prayers".

It then showed Seviathan jumping out of the water while drawing a card from his deck.

"Wanna swim?"

"Seviathan VonEldritch; the Torrential King" said Nico.

It then showed Helsa reveal all of her eyes and fangs in front of children causing them to scream. She then did the same thing to teens and adults.

"Helsa VonEldritch; the Scream Queen of Mean!" Shouted Nico.

"Queen of your nightmares".

It then showed Octavia flying down from the sky before landing superman style as it rained cards ind she picked five of them from the air.

"And Octavia Goitia; the Knight Bird" said Nico.

"Your in my court now".

"These four are the ones to beat", said Nico. "But, I should warn you, they defeat the best and brightest that Lio has to offer. In fact, according to Declan Akaba himself, if some business hadn't come up, Charlie Magne would've beaten her. So good luck everyone, you'll need it". The tablet then turned off.

"Wow, you guys looked so cool" said Allie.

"Uh, cool", said Charlie with a blush. "I wouldn't say that-".

"Ya damn right we do", said Seviathan. "Ain't no one gonna stop us".

Meanwhile.

Three familiar imps were watching them from a building.

"So that's Yuya Sakaki?" Asked Blitzo.

"He sure is cute" said Millie.

"Millie, focus", said Moxxie. "It's Charlie and the other royals we're after".

"And you ain't gettin' them". The three imps looked behind them and saw Lulu, but she had feathered wings in place of her arms, talons in place of her feet and feathers were growing on the side of her face. There was also Shun who had robotic wings and he wore a falcon shaped helmet. Yuto's wrist bans, shoes and eyebrows were now a light with purple fire.

"Oh goody", said Blitzo sarcastically. "It's the bird bastard, his bitch sister and her hot mess boyfriend".

"That reward is ours" said Yuto.

"Oh, I don't think so".

Yugo then rushed up and started to rapidly punch the air. He also had wheels in place of his feet.

"If anything, me and Rin will get the reward", said Yugo. "They won't even see me".

"And get in our way", said Rin as glass replaced her arm. "And you'll die the same way Pat did".

"Actually, you guys should get the fuck out of my way".

Yuri and Celina then appeared. Yuri now had a hand made of thorns and vines. Said thorn then popped out. Celina had more cat like feature on her body.

"That reward is ours", said Yuri. "Unless you want to get poisoned and pricked".

"I'd listen to this asshole", said Celina as she deployed her claws. "Unless you want to be my new scratching post *growl**rawr*". The sound of a gun clicking could be heard. It was Striker.

"Now now everyone", said Striker. "Do you wanna cause a scene? So, why don't we just head back to our homes and rest up for the Arc League. It's our best chance to catch them".

"Fine!". Everyone then went their seperate ways. Hoping to be the ones to get the reward.
