Ana was raised in the nice part of town.She's grown up knowing big houses, luxurious clothes, holidays and foods. She's done ballet since she was old enough to walk and plays many instruments.
Ashton was bought up in the slums, living with his mum, siblings and two best friends in a small two bedroom house. All he's known is hard work and debt.
When Ashton gets into some trouble with the police he is forced into community service. He chooses to clean a dance studio, there he meets Ana.
Ana's dance partner breaks his leg, not being able to perform and every other partner choice is taken. Ana seeks for help from the board but they say there is nothing they can do.
The head of the school decides that Ashton will take her partners place, both teens being shocked.
Ashton can't dance and Ana can't teach. But they find out that all they needed was to get to know each other and it'd make it easier.
Ashton influences Ana and her parents see it too. So they forbid her to see Ashton, but that doesn't stop her.
But what happens when her parents pressuring and harsh words become to much for Ana? And will Ashton be there in time to pick up the pieces?
