"Ugh. That's disgusting."

Faye's glass collided with the counter with a forceful thump as she pulled a face at Annie, eyes slitting accusingly.

"Really?"Annie gasped, tilting back the bottle to scan it."But it's the best fifteen bucks could buy!"

Faye rolled her eyes at her when she scoffed from behind the rim of her glass, head shaking with feigned disappointment.

"Another."Faye hoarsely requested, tongue lapping up the remnants from her lips."Pretty please."

Annie simply nodded her head, gulped down what was left of her third glass, and unscrewed the top. Cheek burrowed in her hand, Faye blankly watched the alcohol slosh around inside the half-finished bottle. She was hyper-aware of Annie watching her.

"You okay, Fee?"Annie softly asked, reaching for Faye's glass. She pursed her lips when Faye numbly nodded, hands dropping on her lap and fingers twining together.

"I'm tired."

Annie yawned in understanding, her eyes glassed over with weariness.

"Did Levi ask any questions?"

Faye shook her head, nails clacking against the glass in a silent demand for Annie to fill it up again. Annie complied with an impressed sniff, a few droplets spilling onto the counter when she turned to refill her glass.

"No. He thinks we're just sitting around talking about Dean being Dean."

Annie just about snorted through a forced laugh, screwing the cap of the bottle back on.

"Ah. If ever in doubt say you've got an iffy stomach, it's that time of the month or...or play the jackass Dean card. Works every time."

She tipped her glass conspiratorially at Faye, her nose scrunching up thoughtfully.

"All three if you're really screwed!"

Her proclamation earned her an incredulous furrowed brow from Faye who was already staring down into an empty glass.

"Um, I can't go to Levi's parents 'cause I don't want to risk anything."She squirmed on the uncomfortable stool, clammy palms cooling against the glass."And I can't stand the thought of sleeping at home myself..."

She trailed off with a half shrug, looking up at her best friend through hooded lids. Annie tilted her head to the side with a tired, lopsided smile, understanding warming her features.

"You can crash with me. Duh. But i'm the little spoon this time."Annie's tone left no room for argument. Her smile inched up a little."I need all the spooning i can get right now."

Faye tiredly beamed at Annie. She reached out and teasingly pinched Annie's cheek with a croon she'd use on her daughter.

"Aw, I love ya."Faye sing songed, tired eyes illuminating with mirth as Annie batted her hands at her.
