Hey guys! I am in such a good mood right now. :) Be happy that I'm wasting my Friday night on you guys... I freaking love you, thanks for putting up with my late updates. This chapter will be interesting.
I walked out of the bathroom and out of the house into the car, not looking at Forestt as I did. I could feel his eyes on me the whole way and I blushed slightly. I got into the back of the car as Alexis and Zeke took up the front. Forestt joined me as Alexis put on the radio and Avril Lavigne blared out.
I crossed my legs and snuck a look at Forestt, who was eyeing me again. "You should dress like this more." He said. I laughed. "Yeah. Like that's ever going to happen." He moved closer to me and I could smell him. I noticed that he smelled like cinnamon, red hot. I took in a deep breath and moved a little closer. "You smell--" I stopped suddenly, putting a hand over my mouth.
Forestt pouted. "I smell?" I ran a hand through my hair. "Um, yeah. You smell bad. Like, not good or anything."
"I know when you're lying." His voice was low and slightly rumbling. My breath caught in my throat and I looked away.
"All I need to do is.." He liftfed his fingers to my chin and gently turned my face towards his. I stared into his smoldering eyes as he stared into my green ones. He smirked. "Definitly lying." My lips twitched upwards as I saw him smile and I put my hand over his, removing it from my face. He entwined our fingers and I shot him a look.
He sighed and removed his fingers from mine. I turned my attention to Alexis and Zeke. "Where are we going?" I asked.
"Club." Alexis replied, checking her lipgloss in the car mirror. I stiffened. "I have bad memories with clubs." I growled. Zeke peered over at me. "Who the hell has bad memories with clubs!? What's wrong with you!?" He asked.
I pointed at Forestt. "He is the reason I hate clubs! He dragged me there one time. And sexually assaulted me!" I whined. Forestt laughed. "It wasn't sexual assault, you loved it. And you grinded right back." He said the last part lower, so only I could hear. I blushed dark red as Alexis wiggled her eyebrows at me.
"Ooh, sexual assault?" I rolled my eyes. "Yeah. It wasn't enjoyable."
Forestt let his fingers glide over my knee cap. "That's not what you said when it was actually happening, darling..." I slapped his hand away. "Uh, yeah it was. I pushed you away and ran!" He shrugged. "Whatever you say LowLow."
I clenched my jaw. "It's either LowLow or Darling. You can't have both." Zeke flipped us off from the front. "Shut up guys, we're here."
I bit my lip and opened the door, stepping out cautiously. Alexis pranced up to a burly guy at the front of a long line. "Hey Red, I'm in with my friends." She pecked the guy on the cheek and he rolled his eyes but let us in willingly. Alexis knew everyone out here.
I walked inside the club. Great- sweaty people, loud beats, sex with clothes on. Just what I came here for. Sarcasm intended. I didn't want to be a party pooper or anything, but these things kind of made me squirm.
I lost my whole train of thought though, when Dancing Crazy (crappy song choice, I know.) started playing from the speakers and Forestt pulled me towards him. It was all dark except for a strobe light, and all I could see of Forestt were his mesmerizing eyes.
He pulled me towards him and I didn't resist as we grinded to the beat. "I didn't know Miranda Cosgrove could be a turn on." He said, his voice husky. I smiled slightly. "We learn new things every day." I broke away from him and sat on one of the stools at the bar.
The bartender winked at me and tossed me a drink. Forestt stuck his hand in front of me and caught it. I scowled at him. "I could have caught that!"
He flicked my nose with his finger. "Sure."
I peered out into the crowd, looking for Alexis and Zeke. They were making out in the middle of the floor, oblivious to everything else. I shook my head to myself, smiling.
Forestt pulled me back onto the floor after a few minutes. "Have you ever thought that our names match?" I raised my eyebrows as he wound his arms around my waist and we swayed to the fast beat slightly. "Um, no. Not really."
Forestt lowered his head so I could feel his lips at my ear. "Your name is Willow, and mine is Forestt. Willow trees? In the forest?" His lips grazed my ear and my arm shot up and wound around his neck lightly. 'Eager are we?" He asked. "Shut up." I said, too out of breath for anything else.
Forestt kissed my neck lightly and nibbled at my sweet spot, making me sigh softly. Then I realized what was happening and I pulled away. "Not going to happen, Forestt." I said, rolling my eyes. I wandered off into the crowd. I was halfway across the room when a hand lightly tapped mine. "Willow?" A familiar voice asked. I turned to see a pale, beautiful face. White blonde hair and dark grey eyes, framed with long black lashes.
My mouth fell open. "Rinn?" I asked, grabbing her arm. "Oh my gosh, it's you!" Rinn gave me a big hug. Rinn used to go to my school last year, but had moved because of family issues. "When did you come back here?" I asked. "I'm just visiting, I arrived yesterday."
I studied her face, frowning suddenly. "What the hell..." I muttered. Rinn tilted her head to the side. "What's wrong?" I took her arm and pulled her in the direction I had just come from. Forestt was at the bar again, talking to the bar tender.
He turned to me and his eyes softened, but then he saw Rinn. "Are you guys... related or something?" I asked quietly. Rinn had stopped in her tracks. "Who are you?" She spit at Forestt. I looked from face to face, confused as Forestt sent her a death glare. "How do you know Willow?" Forestt asked. Rinn took a step closer to him. "I'm one of her best friends. And what are you? Do you know you are endangering her?" She sat the last part so quietly, it sounded like the hiss of some kind of wild cat.
Forestt got off his barstool. I noticed how he towered over Rinn, but both had the same kind of unsettling confidence on their faces- and their eyes- were so alike. The colors- Forestt's was brighter, more like melting silver, while Rinn's were like storm clouds- but they looked like they could be in the same family.
Rinn glanced at me, and seeing my face and took a deep breath. "It's feeding time." She said quietly, and even though I was right next to her, I had to strain to hear her. Forestt looked at me. "I'm taking care of her." He said.
I crossed my arms. "I don't know what's going on here, and you better tell me." I said, glaring at Forestt. Rinn turned back to me. "Is he really taking care of you?" She asked. I nodded slowly. "Yeah, he is. He's been really nice.. and what did you say about feeding time? What is this?" Rinn swallowed. "It's nothing.."
Forestt sighed. "We're leaving. I will talk to you later." He said to Rinn. He pulled me out of the bar and started walking to the door. Rinn grabed my other hand. "You aren't going home alone with her! And what about her friends?" I frowned. "How did you know Alexis and Zeke were here?"
She cleared her throat. "I, uh, saw them here. But you can't go home alone with him!"
I raised my eyebrows. "Why not?" She coughed. "Because you can't!" I raised my eyebrows. "I seriously am confused right now."
Forestt contiuned pulling me to the exit. "Send her friends back home, but I need to get home and talk to Willow."
Rinn growled in a low tone. "You can not tell her!"
Forestt's eyes darkened. "I'm doing it."
"It's that season! It's too risky."
"Goodbye."
I was pulled outside and Forestt got into the car stiffly.
As we drove through the night I took a deep breath. "You better tell me what you are because I sure as hell no you aren't human."
It's short, I know, but I wanted to leave it at this.. I have my werewolf & delinquent stories that I promised I'd update, so bear with me for now, guys, please!
