Ch.22 A Celebration & A Warning

Mags POV

After my sister and I have announced to our pack that we have found our mate there was a jubilation and some disappointment that our mate is female especially with a pack warrior called Luke as we know he lost his mate to rogues. We then heard him say that he wants to challenge our father for position of alpha but the fight didn't last long as our father made Luke submit to him and Luke was quickly taken away to the pack doctor to get treated for his injuries. We then introduced Olivia to our father Beta Shaun and Gamma Sean and their mates Sadhbh and Sophia.

We did introduce her to our Beta and Gamma but it looks like she is distracted by talking to her wolf Amelia about how similar they both look. El eventually asked her what are their names she quickly panicked and said Danni and Eliza, to which both of us just laughed cause she was correct.

After my sister and I along with Olivia stacked our plates with food we made our to where our father and mother was sitting along with Olivia aunt and uncle and we started to eat our meal to celebrate that my sister and I have found our mate and future Luna of the pack. Out of nowhere we all heard a wolf howling but this howl in particular wasn't friendly it wasn't until then our father whispered into his beta and gamma ears the one thing we hate to be if we did something that goes against the pack.

Rogues!

Our mother quickly got our mate and her family and took them inside to keep them safe as we had an unwelcome visitors but the look on our mate face said that she wanted to fight but we know she doesn't have any experience fighting rogue wolves. But my sister and I know that she hasn't really said much about her life.

Our father and his beta along with us shifted into our wolf forms and went to the area where we told the rogues were coming from, but none of us know how many rogues are there some of the pack warriors are also running to the same location aswell.

When we got to the spot we saw between 50 and 60 rogues at the border just waiting for us to attack but as soon as the suppose leader spotted us is when the attack started.  El who is stronger then me has already killed 5 of them and injured at least 10 of them but we heard the bushes rustle behind us and the wolf we thought that was meant to be in the safehouse is somehow come to help. The look on my sister face says it all cause the wolves that are meant to be protecting the safehouse are probably going to be in trouble and Olivia is also going to be in trouble even though we haven't actually mated yet.

But our mate just came out of nowhere and started attacking some of the rogue and had already torn out one of the rogues throat and injured another in which they can't stand up. That's when we continued fighting the rogues.

After our uninvited guests were dealt with we shifted back into our human form and so did our mate, El was the first one to reach her before I did and smacked her across the head which completely shocked her then pulled her into a hug just to make sure she was safe and ok. I eventually reached her and did the same thing my sister did to her and her reaction was completely the same. We left her and saw her aunt with a look of anger on her face and she too smacked our mate and shouted at her for her stupidity but was glad that she was safe. The one thing we didn't show our mate was a note that was amongst the dead as it was from her supposed dead uncle who wants her dead.

Olivia POV

My family and I were enjoying our meal with my mates and their family and the rest of the pack it wasn't till my mates and the rest of those at the table eyes glazed over and then a growl coming from them which meant only one thing.

ROGUES.

Immediately my family and I were quickly escorted to the safehouse as my mates we to deal with the issue. However during the mists of the chaos I slipped through and went to help my mates deal with the rogue issue. I watched as my mates approached the large pack of rogue wolves who were waiting for them but El quickly attacked them and killed 5 and injured 10 of them already then my other mate joined all of them stopped when they heard a rustle coming from the bushes and all of a sudden they saw me jump out of the bushes, the look of anger on their faces said it all that I'm in trouble and those protecting the safehouse will also be in trouble and will face punishment for not noticing me escape and going to help my mates.  But I started attacking the rogue already snapping one of their necks the battle was bloody but the rogue threat was dealt with. As soon as we got back to the packhouse El smacked me across the face and pulled me in for a hug as the fear of losing me scared her Mags did the same thing and then joined the hug from behind after they both left my aunt also smacked me and shouted at me for leaving the safety of the safehouse, I was going to interrupt her but knew better but she too was happy that I'm still alive. The rest of the evening went ok but everyone was still alert just in case another group of rogues decided to attack us.

A/N - Apologies I haven't forgotten about this book and was struggling to write this chapter a lot plus I didn't have any motivation but I'll be writing now and again but updates will be slow due to me working. Plus I need to go back through this book as it's been that long and need to remember how the storyline goes.
