Ch. 20 Meeting the Pack Elders

Olivia POV

I just looked at my aunt and uncles with complete shock when they told me that I have to meet my mates pack but I'll have to meet with the pack elders first I don't see why when it's my mates are the alphas. My uncle just looked at my facial expression and he knew I was confused as to why I have to meet the pack elders.

He turned to look at me and said that this is the first time ever in history that there has been 3 females leading a pack and they consider it bad luck and also wanted to know why I wasn't part of any pack.

I turned to look at my uncle and asked will they ask you why I wasn't part of your pack since I'm your niece. He just looked at me with a puzzled look but he responded that it was my mother that didn't want me to be part of the pack as she wanted me to experience a life with being surrounded by humans.

When he said that many thoughts were running threw my head then I remembered the letter that my parents wrote saying how that my father was human and that my mother didn't want to live on the pack lands out of fear of my father's safety.

I looked back at my uncle asking him does he have any idea who the person is in which he just shook his head indicating a no. I then felt my phone buzz in my trouser pocket notifying that I just got a text which I knew it was from my mates. I took my phone out of my pocket and saw a message from Mags saying what time the Elders want to meet us which is at 7pm and I saw my the time on my phone showing me 10am.

Time just went so slow until it was 5pm which is when I started getting ready so I can meet my mates pack and the dreaded Elders which made me shiver but luckily for me my uncle is coming with me for reassurance but my aunt and uncle will be staying at home.

We got into my uncle's black SUV and he pulled out of the driveway and began the 1hr drive to my mates house. By 6:45pm we arrived at the gates where 2 guards stood my uncle put down his window telling the head guard on duty that we are here to see the Alpha and Luna and most importantly the Elders of the pack. He quickly mind-linked the Alpha asking were they expecting guests and then told his fellows guards to open the gates at exactly 6:50pm yeah took 5 minutes to solve that shit out to let is threw the gates at the front doors of the pack house stood the Alpha and Luna of the Dark Blood pack.

My uncle and I eventually got out of the SUV and slowly walked up to the couple my uncle and the alpha shook hands both obviously try to crush the others hand to show dominance but they were equally matched cause the Luna smacked the back of her mates head which forced to let go otherwise we wouldn't be on time to meet the Elders.

My uncle and I followed behind the Alpha and Luna to be a room where exactly I will be meeting the Elders of the Dark Blood Pack. I took a loud gulp as I'm nervous but with a nod of my uncles head we slowly walked into the room behind the Alpha couple and there at the very top of the room in cloaks with the sigil of the pack on them covering their faces and standing in a Cresent moon shape. In the corner of my eye I see the Alpha couple and my mates standing my uncle told me that my mates have to be there cause anyone meeting the Elders have to be witnessed by the Alpha couple and including the next in line for Alpha.

At exactly 7pm the questions started to come but they won't come quick and fast seeing as they are talking to their future Alphas mate.

Alpha Xavier said that the questions will go from left to right but said that not all the 9 Elders will be asking questions. Saying that only the Elders that are standing in the odd places be asking the questions so exactly 5 questions but hopefully not to difficult.

The Elder who be asking me the first question introduced themselves as Elder Ava and she said like I foreshadowed why wasn't I in a pack however, since I knew the answer I replied that it was my mother didn't want me to grow up in the pack as fears for her mates safety who was human and didn't want to be looked down upon.

I saw her look to the Alpha and I could just barely make out a smile indicating she was satisfied with the answer. The next elder was hard to tell what his question will be cause the way he was looking at me had me nervous like he was trying to look into my very soul. It wasn't until I heard a low growl behind me and saw Elizabeth looking at the very elder who is about to ask me another question like she would kill him as he was taking forever to ask me a  question. He jumped and just looked at the Alpha family cause he didn't have a clue who did it and got on by asking me like how would 3 females lead a pack as it is unheard of same-sex couples leading a pack before. I just simply replied the same way the Alpha and Luna runs the pack but instead of a male female couple running the pack.

After the elders were finished asking their questions which felt like hours my mates said that's it time for me to meet the pack which lets just say is a bit much considering I already met and got asked questions by the pack elders.

A/N deepest apologies writer's block was really hard to get over writing this chapter. Apologies for taking the chapter down as it just came to mind after 3 hours or more being up that I forgot to mention that the meeting ended. Now this chapter is finished.
