My dumb ass has decided to make another story....

Its a Stars Align X Haikyuu Crossover.

Maki as Kageyama
Riku as Kunimi

I don't know why I've decided to do this but it's happening ig?

Ship:

Kunimi Akira X Kageyama Tobio

Scenario:

Kunimi and Kageyama accidentally mention their past in a practice match and they end up telling their teams about them

3rd Person PoV~

Karasuno and Aoba Johsai were having another practice match, ever since the first one in which Karasuno won, they've been having constant matches with each other. They were in the middle of the second set, score at 19 - 18 to Karasuno, having just made a shody play that Kunimi attempted to pick up but didn't reach it in time.

"Lazy as ever, Riku." Kageyama called out, remembering middle school and forgetting they were playing volleyball.

"Oh shut up Maki. You're a softball progidy you can't say much." Kunimi answered back at him, smirking.

Everyone both on and off the court were looking at the two in confusion, except for Kindaichi who had his head in his hands.

"Maki! Riku! You're both idiots! You're not in middle school you're playing a high school volleyball match!" Kindaichi walked closer to Kunimi, lightly slapping the back of his head and glaring at Kageyama. The twos eyes widened as they realised.

"Well shit." They muttered under their breaths simultaneously, everyone staring at them in even more confusion than before.

"Okay, you two can explain yourselves after the match, to everyone. For now just continue."

"Yes coach!" The two teams shouted before getting back into position.

~~~~~
"Okay, you ready to explain yourselves yet?" The teams had gathered in the hall in front of Kageyama and Kunimi, who were stood next to each other nervously.
"Uhh, kind of? I'm speaking last though. What I have to say is far worse than Kunimi." Kageyama stepped back a little, sitting down, and looking to Kunimi who did the same.
"Okay so, uhh, as you all heard Kageyama called me Riku earlier. My birth name was Riku Itsusa-"
"Wasn't that a really good softball tennis player a few years ago? Disappeared after his second year in middle school?" Kunimi was cut off by Yahaba.
"Mhm. Yeah, that, that was me. I quit softball tennis after the championship in my second year and moved to Miyagi and Kitagawa to start playing volleyball with Kindaichi. Wed known each other since we were about 7, and his family took me in."
"Why?" Oikawa asked quietly, worried for his kohai.
"Uhm. As Yahaba said I was practically famous I guess for winning the softball tennis with my twin brother, and I got stopped a lot and there were constantly girls crowding over me, I hated it. And also my mother and brother constantly fought and I couldn't live in that house anymore. And don't say that's horrible because Maki definitely had it worse." Kunimi looked down, eyes drifting to Kageyama, as everyone else looked to him worriedly.
"Okay it wasn't that bad. Riku makes it sound worse than it was-" Kageyama stopped himself at the glare Kunimi was giving him, "Okay maybe it was that bad. Some of you may have heard this name before, if you have don't say anything until I've finished speaking please. My birth name was Maki Katsuragi."
A few gasps, mainly from the third years, a few second years and the coaches, filled the room. Those who didn't know were very confused.
"So about half of you already know. Brilliant. I was adopted into the Kageyama family at the end of my second year of middle school, we moved her I started at Kitagawa and met Kindaichi, and re-met Riku. The reason was my father. He was very abusive, had been since I was born. My parents divorced when I was 8, I stayed with my mother, but every time we moved he'd always find us. He came asking for money that we didn't have, an old friend of mine, Toma Shinjo, found out and payed me to join the soft tennis team at my school. A lot of stuff happened. Maybe a month before the end of my second year of middle school, I snapped. After speaking to a friend, Sho, his name was, I went out, bought a knife and went to my father's home. I killed him. I was 12. I got no charges as it was put down to be self defense, he would have gotten a life sentence for the abuse anyway. You can ask questions now, I know you all have them."
Almost immediately multiple voices sounded, asking a multitude of questions that neither Kageyama nor Kunimi could hear.
"Shut up! One at a time." Kunimi yelled after the noise got to high.
"What did you mean by re-met? You both went to different schools." Oikawa was the first to speak after Kunimi.
"In the first competition, me and the friend I mentioned, Toma, made it to the finals which we ended up playing against Riku and Sora, his brother. They beat us and we promised to meet again. We did and me and Toma beat them, that was the last tournament we played." Kageyama answered, Kunimi nodding along with what he said.
"Kageyama what happened to your mother?" At that question from Daichi, Kageyamas mood turned sour.
"Don't know. The day I killed my dad she disappeared. Never saw her again." He answered coldly, lying back on the floor.
"Do you prefer your birth names or the ones we know you as?" Sugawara this time, trying to change the track of the questions.
"Call us the names we came to highschool with. We only call each other the other names because they were the names we met with and it's more comfortable for us." Kunimi answered this time, looking at Kageyama and rubbing his shoulder to try and comfort him.
"So everything about the King in Volleyball was a lie then?"
"Not really. I mean, both of us only started volleyball at the beginning of third year, for being the first time both of us did decently well. But Maki here, is a goddamn prodigy in literally anything sport related. I was the best of the best in soft tennis, he beat me after about 7 months of playing. He picked up volleyball so goddamn fast that he literally sees the court as a grid, and can place the ball exactly. That's not normal!" Everyone laughed a little, it was clear that Kunimi was a little annoyed by how good Kageyama was.
"If you'd have just practiced more, or moved around the court more you'd have done better. You always have been lazy." Kageyama mumbled from his place on the floor. Kunimi glared at him a little before his eyes softened and he lay down turning his body slightly so they were practically cuddling.
"I hate you." He murmered before his breath evened out and he fell into a light sleep, Kageyama doing the same moments after.
"Idiots." Kindaichi muttered as he stood, grabbing a blanket out of his bag and placing it on top of the two boys, he was far too prepared according to everyone else.
This is long and shit and I'm sorry, but yeah you've got this now. I will be taking requests for chapters so comment here if you have any ideas.
