Melissa's pov:
My phone rang a few times before I finally picked up, what does she want?! I thought to myself. "Hey babes" my good friend Emily said through the line, "Is there a specific reason your calling at 8:00am, its too early for this shit" I muttered tiredly. "Yes actually, theres a party tonight I want you and Tristan to come to", " I love you but you know tristan and I dont do parties". "yeah yeah I know but its for Rise records and some bands you may know will be there." Emily said exitedly. I thought for a moment "Fine what time should we be there and where is it?", "Be there at 8:00 and at my place". We said our goodbyes before I yelled to Tristan "Tristan get your butt up were going to a party tonight", she walked into my room "why? we hate parties", "I'm aware but their will be some bands there and its at Emilys place so its good", she left to go make us cereal and coffee.
*3:00 pm*
I decided I should start getting ready, because it takes me fucking forever to just put makeup on. I hopped in the hot shower rinsing my hair and all that other stuff. Finally out of the shower,I blow dried my black hair and curled it. I threw on my black high-wasted shorts with my favorite slipknot shirt on and my wine red Doc Martens. I put on my almost white foundation, im pretty pale for someone who lives in California, I dont go outside much though so I'm almost positive thats why. I finished my look with winged eyeliner and deep red lipstick. It was now 5:00 pm. Tristan walked in the living room with an beetlejuice shirt and white high-wasted shorts on which im pretty sure were mine "you stole my shorts?" I said with a shocked expression trying not to laugh "mhmm" she snapped her fingers before putting her black vans on. We walked to my car and put on Motionlesss In White while driving to Emily's. Honestly I was actually looking forward to this party, and I had a really good feeling about tonight.
