Chapter 2

3rd person POV

Xiao woke up at 6:00AM and got finished getting ready at 6:45. All he did was take a quick shower, put on sweatpants, a black shirt, and a black jacket with a half black and half white bear on it. Then he went downstairs and made some toast.

Xiao's POV

After I was done eating I stepped outside and walked to school. My parents own a big business that they're always gone and they just leave money for me to buy food. They always just left me with there friends until I was 15. When they come back they don't pay me much attention. Its... like they don't want me. There was this one time where I tried asking my mom how the business trip was and she just yelled at me and said it wasn't any of my business and she called me useless. My dad calls me a names like " useless peice of shit" or he says "why did your mom even give birth to you". I don't even know why they keep me alive... why can't they just throw me to an orphanage? Why don't they just get rid of me? Why do they even bother to give me money to take care of myself? Those are questions that always fill my mind but I dont ask them because I'm scared if they will say other rude things or make me sleep outside. They made me sleep outside one time when I was about 10. I asked them if they could make me some food but... they just grabbed my hair and dragged me outside. I never thought about running away or anything because I don't have anywhere to go. Atleast they give me money to take care of myself. I was never the kid to talk to anyone or make any friends because of something that happened in the past. There's this voice in my head that always told me that I was worthless, a useless person, and that I should kill myself. Those voices always said things like that until... Zhongli helped me. He helped me get those voices out of my head and he was always there for me, to comfort me. Sometimes those voices come back, but I just ignored them. There is something that I keep away from Zhongli. Something that I feel like he would hate me for... the thing I never told him is that I... cut myself. I cut my wrist every so often. To be honest, the pain feels good. I deserve the pain. I should've never have been born, I'm just a nuisance in this world, to my parents.

I looked up from the ground and saw that I was already in front of the school. I digged through my pockets to grab my phone. I found it and saw that it was 7:15. When I walked in the school it was crowded with people which made me very uncomfortable. I continued to walk down the crowded hall until I came upon a board with all these different classes. I looked for my name until I saw it. I was in Class 1-A. When I found the room I walked in and just walked to the back of the class and sat down.

After awhile, the bell rang and a teacher walked in. They were talking about boring things and had us introduce ourselves. After awhile of the teacher talking about some boring things the bell rang. I got up, grabbed my bag and walked out of the classroom. When I was walking to my locker I heard a familiar voice call my name. I turned around and saw Zhongli. "Hello Xiao " "Hi Zhongli " " would you like to have lunch with me and my friend?" Zhongli's question caught me of guard. Did he just ask if I wanted to have lunch with him and his... friend? "I don't know about that..." I said. "Please Xiao I want you to meet him" " you know I don't like meeting other people Zhongli" " I know but I want you to meet them " " what's the point on meeting someone when they're just gonna give up on you" When I said that sentence i tried to hide the pain. "Xiao I'm sure this person won't do that and if he was I wouldn't want you to meet him". He's telling the truth, he would never try to make me feel more pain. After all he is like a father figure to me. I sighed before speaking again " fine I'll have lunch with you" I said while look up at Zhongli. He had a soft smile on his face. "Follow me Xiao "

Venti's POV

When we were waiting for aether a girl with sky blue hair, which fades into a darker blue at the end, bumps into lumine " I'm so sorry " I heard someone say " it's fine don't worry about " I heard lumine say. "I'm lumine and this is venti" " heyo!" I said smiling at her "oh um I'm Ganyu it's nice to meet you " The girl named Ganyu said "it's nice to meet you too!" Right when I said that Aether walked out of the classroom. "Who's this?" "Aether this is Ganyu, Ganyu this is aether" lumine said. "It's nice to meet you Ganyu" "it's nice to meet you too aether". When they were done greeting eachother Zhongli walked over to us. " Hello venti " " hello Zhongli is there something that you need?" " would you like to have lunch with me? I want you to meet someone" when Zhongli asked that i looked over at Aether and lumine they both just nodded their heads meaning that they didn't mind me having lunch with Zhongli. "Sure!" "Ok then I'll meet you in the cafeteria Venti" "okie dokie" I said smiling at him. When I looked back at the twins they were already gone. So I walked to the cafeteria alone, chose a table and waited for Zhongli and his friend.

After awhile Zhongli and his friend showed up. It was the boy that I saw in class and if I was being honest he looked absolutely beautiful. He had gold eyes and a beautiful face. "Heyo! I'm Venti it's nice to meet you!" I said smiling at him. He looked a Zhongli and then me. " I'm Xiao (I have autocorrect on and it replaced Xiao's name with Xbox) And I don't plan on being friends with you " he said coldly. I just giggled at him. "Well I'll go get our lunches " Zhongli said walking off. I just stared at his eyes. I couldn't take my eyes off of them but those eyes were filled with... pain. "Are you just going to keep staring or are you going to say something " I heard him say "oh ehe sorry if I made you uncomfortable" " whatever " "soooo what class are you in?" "1-A " "what's your favorite subject?" " I don't have one". Then after that is was silent. It was awkward until Zhongli came back. We just talked about things well me and Zhongli atleast. Xiao obviously isn't very social. After we were done eating Zhongli had to go to a class so he left me and xiao alone.

It was very awkward until I heard a familiar voice call out to us. "Oh hey lumine and Ganyu " I said smiling at them "hey venti and... who is he?" "This is Xiao " " It's nice to meet you I'm lumine " Xiao didn't say anything he just completely ignored her. " Xiao isn't someone to really talk to people lumine" I heard Ganyu say " do you know him?" I asked her "yeah he's an old friend of mine. His parents sometimes dropped him off with me and my mom when we were younger " After she said that the bell rang.

The second chapter is done it took 1300 words. Where I live at high school starts at 7:30AM but at different places it can start like a 8:00 are something I don't really know. Again if I made any mistakes go ahead and correct me so I can fix it.
