TWO YEARS LATER!
OLIVIA smiled softly as she walked up the aisle, butterflies in her stomach as she held hands with her best friend, and love of her life.
when the girls reached the alter they held each others hands, smiles on their faces, and butterflies filling their stomachs.
"the brides have prepared their own vows, so i'll leave them to it."
"florence, i don't know where to start," olivia admitted, and the crowd laughed sweetly, "romance was always something i never believed could be truly perfect, and then i met you." the girl smiled softly, "we met because you decided to reach out, regarding a song about our mutual ex drama, thanks for that josh," olivia laughed, and joshua pumped his fist from the crowd, "thanks for not being an ass anymore!" olivia joked.
"but seriously, flo. you saved me," the girl continued, "you were always there for me, and i can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, love. i vow to always be by your side, to always give you cuddles, and drive our kids to school, and so many other things, as long as i'm with you."
"olivia," florence spoke, "you're my soulmate. when i was younger, i was feeling nervous about soulmates. my mom lena tried to tell me i was so young, only a middle schooler, but my mom sarah told me this, and i think of it constantly. she said, 'my darling, you are a book, and someday you will be read by a specific person, and you'll be the perfect book to them. somebody might not have read your book yet, but they will.' you're that person, flo. and i love you so insanely much for it. i promise to love you forever, and to be by your side always, supporting you through every decision you make, and making you smile till the day i die. always and forever, my darling."
"by the power vested in me, i know pronounce you wife and wife. you may now kiss each other, brides."
and so they did, and they enjoyed every fucking second of that kiss.
