"Oh my god my favourite part." Jesse commented as we watched the Amazing Spider Man 2. I threw some more popcorn in my mouth as I watched intently.

I loved this film and not just because Andrew Garfield was in it.

I was on my third date with Jesse. He decided to bring me over to his for a movie and dinner. Our second date was ice skating which was really funny cuz Jesse could not ice skate.

So here we were enjoying our third date. We've kissed twice and each time it was sweet and cute.

Feelings?

I wasn't too sure.

I rolled my eyes and carried on throwing popcorn into my mouth.

Soon the movie ended and we decided to retreat to the dining room to eat. Mel (Jesse's mom) knew I was over so she was in her restaurant.

Jesse moved my chair back for me to sit. "What a gentleman." I smirked.

"Well yes that's me." He grabbed the food out of the oven and placed it on the table.

It was lasagne and salad.

My favourite meal.

That was cute. He made my favourite meal.

"Here you go lady." He served the food onto my plate.

"Wow. You stupid boy. You made my favourite meal."

He laughed. "I don't know how that constitutes me as stupid but sure."

He took his seat and we ate. It was amazing. So amazing.

I kept throwing chunks into my mouth making me look like a pig but I really didn't care. It was so good.

"Jesse I want to kiss your fingers. How on earth can you cook so well? It's not fair." I said trying to not stuff more food in my mouth.

"You can kiss my fingers any time." He winked. I threw a dirty look. He laughed as he continued. "My mom was always an amazing cook. She taught me. Even though we had cooks at our own place she didn't want to ever live eating someone else's food. So she learnt and gave all her recipes to me by teaching me and so on. So when we came here with my aunt my mom gradually opened a restaurant. My aunt died a few years ago so my mom named the restaurant after her. Pinky's. My moms sisters name was Pink. It was an odd name but my grandparents were pretty odd."

Wow. I loved learning more about Jesse's life. It was so fascinating. He went through a lot.

"I appreciate you so much Jesse. You've been through an awful lot. But you're so strong and brave. Not many people turn out to be so kind and considerate and caring. But you have."

And Grayson. Or so I thought.

"You're being too kind. I wasn't always like this. It was difficult after my aunt died. My mom was upset all the time and so was I. My aunt was like a second mom to me, she saved us. But we managed to pull it back and open Pinky's. We saved each other." He smiled to himself.

I wish I loved him.

Soon we finished eating and he cleared our plates.

"I have cherry pie for dessert. Want some?" He asked. I had no room for any more food but I wanted that pie.

"Tell you what. Pack some pie for me so I can eat it later. I have no room to eat anymore."

He smiled at me as he packed up my pie.

I got up and walked up and down a bit. I wore a white skirt and brown jumper with my Nike Air Forces. It was a nice fit and good enough for a date.
