Paintings and Picnics

You were wrapped up the covers on your bed. The spot where Thalia slept was empty, she was probably cooking breakfast. A few minutes pass until you heard footsteps approaching the bed. You smile, not needing to open your eyes to know that it was Thalia. She lifts up the covers and climbs in next to you. She wraps her arms around your waist and you immediately cuddle up to her, enjoying the warmth. She smiles and kisses the top of your head.

"Good morning, darling." Thalia says in a soft voice, you smile and bury your face in her chest.

"Good morning, angel" You reply sleepily. Thalia grins at your nickname and plays with your hair.

"I have a date planned for us, my love." Thalia says. You look up at her, she presses a kiss to your forehead. You interlace your fingers with hers and gaze into her electric blue hues.

"What are we gonna do on our date?" You ask.

"Well, I thought we'd start out by painting, then we'd go on a picnic." She answers, you smile up at her.

"I love that idea..." You say as you gently stroke the side of her face. Thalia kisses your palm, which makes you giggle. After a while of cuddling, Thalia kisses your scalp and murmurs into your hair.

"Are you ready for our date my love?" She asks. You nod your head.

"Mhm. Can you carry me?" You ask. Thalia smiles and scoops you up in her arms. She carries you out to the living room, where all the painting materials were set up. She sets you down on the couch, then sits down next to you. Your eyes scan the painting materials and you smile. "You bought this all for me?" You ask. Thalia nods and presses a kiss to your temple.

"Of course I did, y/n. Now," She grabs a paint brush and paint, she hands them to you. "Let's start painting, hm?"

As you paint, you look over at Thalia's painting and nearly burst out laughing. "Thals, what are you painting?" Thalia cracks a smile before answering.

"...Boobs..." She responds. You burst out laughing, which makes Thalia laugh. "Hey! Don't laugh!" She says jokingly. "It brings out the inner me, don't you think?"

"Your inner lesbian?" You ask.

"Yeah!" Thalia replies.

You giggle and press a kiss to her lips. "I love you so much." She smiles into the kiss, when she pulls away she dips her finger into the paint and boops you on the nose, leaving a paint stain.

"I love you too, sunshine." You dip the tip of your finger into the paint, and draw a line across Thalia's cheek, which earns a smile from her. "Hey! Not fair!" She responds jokingly.

"Hey, you started it!" You protest. 

"Yeah, but still!" Thalia responds. She smears a line of paint on your cheek. You go to dip your finger in the paint again, but before you can, Thalia pins you down on the couch and presses a kiss to your lips, which makes you smile. She pulls away and brushes a stand of hair away from your face. "Now, let's go get cleaned up and go on that picnic I promised."

After you get cleaned up, Thalia drives you to the place where you're going to have your picnic. It was on top of a hill that had a nice view of the city. As you eat, you talk.

"I can't believe you became immortal for me, you're such a simp." Thalia says while smiling.

"Hey! You became un-immortal for me, so you're more of a simp," You reply and playfully shove her. She responds by pinning you to the ground, which makes you giggle.  She smiles down at you before pressing a kiss to your lips. She rolls off of you and lays at her side to look at you. You do the same and put your arm under your head. Your faces were inches apart. She cups your face with her hand and gazes into your (e/c) eyes. She gently caresses your cheek with her thumb, which makes you smile at her. "I love you." You say. Thalia smiles back and and kisses you. You stay like that for a while, enjoying each others company. Thalia pulls away from the kiss and murmurs against your lips.

"I love you too."

After your date, you and Thalia go back home.

"You know, I know the perfect way to end this date," Thalia says. You look over at her and smile, having an idea of what she means. Thalia crawls on top of you and smiles down at you. "Let's have some fun."
