Distractions

You and Percy were sitting at the dining pavilion. You were playing a card game when he looked over at the Zeus cabin and frowned. "It's almost dinner time and I haven't seen Thalia around all day, I should go and check on her."

You set your deck of cards down and stand up. "I'll go check on her, she's my girlfriend."

Percy starts shuffling his card deck. "Alright, don't take too long."

You make your way over to the Zeus cabin and open the door. Your eyes scan around the room until they land on Thalia, who was wrapped up in the covers. You quietly walk over to the bed, it looked like she was sleeping. You lean over and gently touch her arm. "Thals?"

She stirs in her sleep. "Hmm?"

You slowly rub your hand up and down her arm. "I wanted to make sure that you were okay."

Thalia opens her eyes and stares at you, a smile tugs at the corners of her lips. "You're sweet. But I'm okay, especially now that you're here." You smile at her statement. She shuffles over and pats the spot next to her. "Come cuddle with me."

You grin at her offer. "I don't know... It is almost time for dinner..."

Thalia pouts. "Please?"

Thalia was incredibly hard to say no to, and you could never pass up cuddling with her. You kick off your shoes and climb into bed, Thalia pulls the covers around you as you snuggle up to her. You rest your head against her chest, she responds by wrapping her arms around you and burying her face in your hair.

"We gotta be to the campfire on time, otherwise they're gonna wonder where we are."

Thalia pulls her head up and starts kissing your neck, making you erupt into a fit of giggles. You practically melt into her as she trails kisses along your neck. She presses one last kiss to your jaw before going back to burying her face in your hair. "It'll be fine, we'll just say that we got busy."

 You smile as she presses a kiss to your scalp. "We are quite busy right now, aren't we?"

Thalia nods as she traces circle designs on your hipbone "Definitely." A horn blows, signaling that it's time for dinner, but you don't care, you just wanted to spend the rest of the night with Thalia. Thalia doesn't seem to care either, judging from how she makes no attempt to get up. You find yourself slowly fading in and out of sleep. You fall asleep in your girlfriends arms, forgetting about dinner.

"This is why you can't trust them alone together, this happens." Annabeth says as she leans against the doorway. Her, Percy and Grover stare at you and Thalia, both of you were fast asleep.

"Well I didn't know that they would end up like this!" Percy replies as he gestures to you and Thalia.

"Be quiet, dude, you're gonna wake them up." Grover says as he chews on his tin can.

Annabeth plays with the beads on her necklace. "Yeah, let's leave them be. Just remember to wake them up tomorrow."

And with that, they leave you and Thalia alone once again.
