With that idea planted in her head, Siofra made her way back home hoping her mom wasn't there yet. When she came in she looked around and saw that nobody was home. Wanting to prepare for her journey she started looking for all the things that were needed for her trip. Something then got her attention, it looked like a door she had never opened before. Her curiosity got the best of her, so she decided to open it and see what was behind it. Then she was face to face with a whole collection of weapons. Confused siofra looked at what she had found. There was a brilliant idea that came in her head, she could probably use one of those on her journey ahead. Siofra took the first sword that she could find. After a while she had collected everything she needed for her trip, right on time because Raven walked through the door. "I'm back, so how was your day?" Raven asked while putting her stuff down. "Boring as always, and yours? How was work?" Siofra asked trying to maybe get a little hint of what it exactly was her mom did. "same old same old." Raven answered dryly.
While they were saying their good nights, Raven mentioned that she would be gone early in the morning, and that she didn't have to expect her home for next 4 days. At that Siofra thought to herself "This is perfect I can start my trip tomorrow and I will be back before mom will even notice.".
The next morning Raven left early. And when she arrived at the castle she was immediately greeted by the king. He had a very important mission for her, when the king told her she couldn't believe her own ears. He asked her to do the same thing she had done 16 years ago, murder a whole village. For some reason this time she couldn't say yes, for the first time in 20 years she denied the wishes from the king. Maybe it had something to do with the way she was living now that Siofra was in her life. And it gave her somebody that she wanted to make proud of her, and murdering a village was definitely not the way to do it. "No!" Raven answered abruptly. "What was that?" the king asked with an arrogant tone. "You heard me clearly. I'm done with being your poppet, I'm not going to kill any more innocent people." Raven said with a clear tone of disgust. The king stood there speechless not knowing what just happened. Before he could respond Raven had left to never be seen again.
When Raven was making her way back she had decided that she was going to tell Siofra everything about her past. And how she now wanted to make up for it and change her way of living. Excited to tell her the good news Raven opened the door only to find the house was empty, and there was no sign of Siofra. Worried Raven started to look everywhere in the house and in the forest around. Still no luck, Raven broke down in Siofra's room. She cried her eyes out, until she saw a piece of paper sticking out from underneath Siofra's pillow. With every piece of her body Raven hoped it would tell her were Siofra went. And it did but not as she wished, it was her letter from the mission that brought her and Siofra together.
All she could do now was find her daughter and hope it wasn't too late. She quickly gathered her things and took her twin knifes to go and find her daughter. She couldn't lose the only thing that mattered in her life. She would do anything for Siofra. And if it would come to it even put up a fight, or even kill if she had to. Nothing was too big if it came to Siofra. And with that being said Raven left to go safe the person that brought light to her life.
