Chapter 6: Celebration

Hey guys. I felt bad for not uploading fast enough so here is the unedited chapter. It's not that great, had a little writer's block.

--Third Person’s POV--

Three breathtaking beings walked out onto the city hall's balcony. A blonde, handsome, tall man, with tan skin and sharp features. An ethereal individual that could easily be mistaken for a woman, with soft pale skin, pink lips, eyes that shine like the sun and smooth flowing hair. They held a beautiful child in their arms, her soft pink wavy hair was pinned back, her cheeks were rosy and her eyes filled with wonder.

These three were: Veldora, the guardian Dragon of the forest. Rimuru, Demon Lord and King of the Jura Tempest Federation. Adani, the princess of Tempest.

Demon Lord Rimuru brought out a magical item called a microphone and lifted it to his mouth. "Thank you, all of you, for joining us on this day. This country went through a difficult time, with the battle we have won and the approaching war. But we are not weak, and we do not give up hope. As proof of that, I would like to introduce my and True Dragon Veldora's daughter, Adani Tempest. She will stand in our country as the symbol of joy and hope… A gift to our hearts."

As the king completed his speech, the dragon standing by his side jumped up and transformed into his true form, a magnificent creature that commanded the skies. He wrapped himself around the city hall building and let out an exuberant roar. The people filling the streets and watching from the rooftops let out a cheer. "Long live Lord Rimuru! Lord Veldora! Princess Adani!" were the chants that could be heard among the people.

The child in the arms of the king had begun to cry with a smile on her face. Adani lifted her hand and waved to the monsters and humans spread out before her. Her mother, Lord Rimuru, wiped her tears and kissed her head, giving her a warm smile. The child felt warm. She was home and she was loved.

The dragon returned to his family's side. He kissed his lover's head and caressed the hair of his child. They returned inside the building, the sound of glee echoing behind them.

****The Next Day****

--Rimuru POV--

“Phobio! How’s it going with Gobwa?” I decided to tease him after he married Benimaru's closest guard.

The man’s face practically glowed neon red. “We’re doing well. Again, I thank you, Lord Rimuru for permitting our union.”

“Still eloquent despite being shy, I see.” I placed my hands on my hips and peered at him through one eye. “Well, I believe a ‘congratulations’ is in order. Here.” I handed him a coupon for the bar. “A night of devil’s water, on me!”

“Oh, I can’t possibly-”

“Take it, you panther. Although I would love to join you, I’m going to spend time with my own family.” I beamed.

“Thank you, Lord Rimuru. You never cease with your generosity, and that is what I admire most about you.” He bowed his head.

Of course, I became, ridiculously, flustered. “Nah, just want you to go have some fun.” I still managed to sound calm.

I walked away from Phobio and started towards my office. Diablo appeared by my side, his pocket watch in hand. “Lady Adani should be arriving soon. Lord Veldora is already waiting for you.” The man had a pleasant smile on his face.

I still wonder why this guy likes to work so much.
