I'm bored, nothing to do, nothing to say, nothing to see. What a life I'm living, wish I would just disappear... No, that will never happen, will it. Damn, this sucks.

Huh? What's that, a... Light? It's so bright—hahaha—and blue. Beautiful. Wait, it's getting closer.

...

All black, everything is... black? What is this feeling, it's prickling my body and annoying... Body! I can feel myself being prickled. And something blowing on my body, it feels so nice and cool. Why can't I see it? Where am I?

My eyes, there closed! I snapped my eyes open and sat up quickly, letting my surroundings soak in. The sky was blue and filled with white puffy clouds that looked like cotton balls. The grass I was sitting on was tall and green, flowers and bees growing in it. Tree's surrounded me in all directions.

Wow. It's... I-It's beautiful. The most color I've seen in decades—haha—I missed it so much. I didn't even know it when I trapped, did I? How much I missed this.

Suddenly, tears filled my eyes came flowing out but like a calm flowing river. They were silent, but there. I closed my eyes to black void, though I knew it wasn't a dream. In the void, there is no dreams, just void. Still hesitant, I slowly opened my eyes once again, and the beautiful, vibrant colors came back into vision.

Hahaha. This is real...

"Look! There's someone over here!" a boy's voice called out and caught my attention. A person? I haven't encountered one in so long, I wonder what they'll be like.

To my right, heavy footsteps grew louder and louder, and suddenly, there was a boy.

"Hey, what are you doing here!" Blond hair. "and why are you crying?" Blue ocean-eyes. "come one! Answer me, damn it!"

I turned to the blonde-haired boy and gazed at him in awe. He flinched.

"Tommy! What are you doing?" Another voice—a male's voice, but deeper—asked and ran up from behind the blonde-haired boy. Tommy?

"Look, Will! It's a woman!"

A brown-haired boy with brown eyes facepalmed and sighed. "I can see that, Tommy. Go back to L'manburg and get Niki."

The blonde-haired boy—Tommy?—groaned and ran off in the other direction. The brown-haired boy—Wilbur?—turned to me and gave me a long stare. I stared back, but more curiously, and frowned. Was expecting my first interaction with a human would be a little... different.

I laid back down on my back and stared long and hard at the bright blue sky.

"What are you doing?" Wilbur asked, I couldn't see what he was doing. Just heard his voice.

I hesitated to speak, I hadn't spoken in decades. I wonder what my voice will be like. That kid earlier called me a woman so my voice will be feminine, right? And of an older woman from the kids information.

"Admiring a beautiful sky," I answered shortly back. My voice slightly feminine, but deeper and of a teen. Not what I was expecting. I continued, "Do you not?"

"I haven't time for such things," he said back, his voice seeming sad at that moment.

My frown deepened at his heavy words, but I continued to gaze at the sky. "What have you time for?"

"That's none of your business," he answered me with a sudden cold tone.

From the direction of Wilbur's voice, light and heavy footsteps—pit-pat, pit-pat—approached us. A girl. A boy, presumably the one from earlier.
