"Why are we looking at boy clothes if we having a girl, Chanel?" Dave said smirking
"And how do you know that we are having a girl mr.smartass, huh?" I said crossing my arms
"My daughter talks to me and she told me that she's a girl shordy" Dave said winking at me
"Mmhm whatever you say Dave but let's go cuz I'm hungry right now" I said looking at him
He grabbed my bags with his left hand then grabbed my hand with his right hand and we started walking out of the store towards the food court. As we were walking like I felt someone watching us and I started looking around til I met eyes with Nicki and I rolled my eyes.
"Don't look behind us but Nicki is mugging the hell outta us for some reason" I said shaking my head
"Just ignore her ass like she's just mad and shit honestly" Dave said looking at me
She's mad? Why is she even mad for like it's nothing to be mad at anyway? All of a sudden, I got that gut feeling that Dave wasn't telling me the full truth on why she's really mad and shit...
"You know what just forget it like we can just go home and get something to eat right now" I said looking at him
He turned towards me and looked at me tryna read my body language right now...
"You don't wanna stay and eat because Nicki is here, huh?" He said crossing his arm
"No, I don't feel too good now like I just want to get in my bed with you" I said smiling
"Oh okay baby, I guess we can go now" Dave said

"Boy now what do you want from the kitchen?" I said crossing my arms
"Sum ice cream and chips and maybe a soda please mama" He said smiling
"Aight while I'm gone maybe look for a movie so we can watch please" I said looking at him
He nodded his head and grabbed the remote control then I walked out the room heading towards the kitchen in this empty alone. I placed my phone on the counter while I grabbed the things that Dave wanted as I was doing that my phone started vibrating.
I noticed that it was a text message from a unknown number which I was kinda confused honestly so I opened the text message and automatically felt my heart drop to my ass.

I stood there tryna figure out who's playing in my phone and shit right now because I don't have time for the games honestly. I definitely have to watch my back because these bitches and niggas can't be trusted these days.
Then I walked back upstairs with our snacks and drinks to see that Dave wasn't in here which I was confused and I noticed that the bathroom door was closed so I placed the stuff down on the bed. I began walking towards the door and heard Dave talking to someone.
"How the hell did you get my number?" Dave said loudly
Who has his number?....
"I don't wanna hear yo bullshit right now like what we had been done and over with so leave me the fuck alone" Dave said aggressively
A tear fall down my cheek and I quickly wiped those tears away..
"What are you talking bout? You know what I'm finna block you on god bro" Dave said loudly
I quickly walked towards the bed and acted like I was placed the snacks down, that's when the bathroom door opened and Dave came out walking towards me then I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
"What movie we finna watch mama?" Dave said smiling
I looked at him tryna read his body language..,
"Umm I don't know, it's up to you honestly" I said looking at him
"We could watch the new Space Jam movie if you want Nene" He said looking at me
I nodded my head as he picked the movie while I turned off the light and got into bed. Once he got himself together then he finally got into bed and began eating his snacks as the movie started playing.
As my back was face towards him then tears started falling once again which made me quickly wipe them away.
