𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗗 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗩

"Come in." Professor Lupin said, opening the door to his classroom. (Y/N) and Harry did as he wished, entering in the classroom, glad Snape didn't give them detention.

"I haven't the faintest idea Harry how this map came to be in your possession but quite frankly, I am astounded that you didn't hand it in. Did it never occur to you that this, in the hands of Sirius Black is a map to you?" Lupin somewhat scolded Harry.

"No, sir." Harry muttered, (Y/N) stood awkwardly next to him, feeling rather uncomfortable in this situation.

"Your father never set much store by the rules either but he and your mother gave their lives to save yours. Gambling their sacrifice by wandering around the castle unprotected with a killer on the loose seems to me a poor way to repay them! Now, I will not cover up for you again Harry. Do you hear me?"

"Yes, sir." Harry replies

"I want you to return to your dormitory and stay there. And don't take any detours. If you do, I shall know."

Harry and (Y/N) started walking out of the room before Lupin stopped them. "Harry you go on, I would like to have a chat with (Y/N)."

Harry went on while (Y/N) stayed put, he mouthed 'I'll wait for you in the common room' to her. She smiled at him before walking back to the Professor.

"What is it you want to talk to me about, Professor?" She asked, her tone changing to sound more polite.

"I know the whole thing with the map was all Potter, and I'm quite glad you were there with him, but it is still dangerous for you to be going out in the middle of the night. I will let it slide this time but if I see you sneaking around the school after hours again, I will give you detention."

"I understand." She nodded, walking over to the door.

"Say hi to your dad for me when you visit him." Remus smiled.

"How-"

"Off to bed." He cut her off.

"Professor, just so you know, Harry and I don't think that map always works. Earlier on, it showed someone in the castle. Someone I know to be dead."

"Oh, really? And who might that be?"

"Peter Pettigrew."

"That's not possible." Lupin's fave changed to an expression of disbelief.

"It's just what I saw." She left the room. "Goodnight Professor."

Three things were semi-clear from tonight

1. Pettigrew is alive. He is either very short or takes very small steps.

2. Sirius Black isn't a threat — if Pettigrew is alive, it means Sirius didn't murder/disintegrate him, showing he isn't as big of a threat as thought to be. (He may still be a bit of a threat)

3. Professor Lupin was a marauder or whatever their called. He is the "moony" person, I know this because he is a werewolf and they shift when it is a full moon. The name and the fact he is a werewolf is also pretty self explanatory.
