I didn't really want to go, I wanted to stay home and sleep. Gosh, is that so bad? Besides, they're all going to poke at me like I'm an animal or something. No wonder they don't have girlfriends. No respect for women whatsoever. I should give them a lesson on that.

Fingers snapping in my face got me out of my misery. "Hey, I'm talking to you!" I felt my face turn red in frustration. Saying I have a short temper is an understatement. "Two-Bit, you are so rude! Maybe that's why-" I cut myself off. That's too rude, and that's why I only had one friend in Texas. "Why what? Huh? Whatcha gonna say?" He was invading my personal bubble by poking my cheeks. See, like I'm an animal. I pursed my lips and bit my tongue to keep from saying anything I'll regret.

Everyone in the truck stared at me bemusedly as I hung my head. "You should leave her alone," a soft spoken voice says. I look up. It's Johnny. Those are the first words he's said since I met him yesterday. I looked over at him to see he's already staring at me. why you starin'? huh, i don't blame him.
He averts his eyes as soon as we make eye contact. A pink blush settles on his face.

Luckily before anymore awkwardness can happen, we pull into a parking space at the Dingo. I feel a hand try to grab mine. I look down and follow the arm to its owner. Ugh. Why does he even bother? "If you touch me one more time, I'll knock you the frick out, Dallas." I said, using his actual name. I don't play. He lets go and backs away, his arms up in surrender. "Can't kill a guy for trying," he said accompanied with a smirk. I opened my mouth, then closed it. He's not worth my time.

Maybe if I pushed him into oncoming traffic...
