Today was Friday, May 3rd. Exactly a week until I graduate from NYPA (totally made up, not a real school) New York Performing Arts.
I just finished my last class before I left campus to go to my shared apartment with my current best friend Peyton Bradley.

We were planning to go out tonight, to a club near Grand Central. We took the subway since it's literally the cheapest form of transportation.

Peyton had earlier classes than me, so I would always come home finding her eating food and watching Netflix.
This is one of many reasons why we're best friends.

I walk into my apartment hearing blasting music from the kitchen and loud singing from an obnoxious Peyton.
"COME ON EILEEN!! OH I SWEAR, WHAT HE MEANS, AT THIS MOMENT, YOU MEAN EVERYTHING!"

I ran into the kitchen and yelled the next verse. (Come On Eileen, Peyton's favorite song out of many)
"YOU IN THAT DRESS, MY THOUGHTS I CONFESS, VERGE ON DIRTY, OH-"

"COME ON EILEEN!"

Before I forget, I need to explain what happened with Sam.
It was probably the touchiest subject I could ever talk about it, I really couldn't talk about it without tearing up. Peyton's really the only one who knows.

Sam left me, the week before my birthday, because I was leaving for New York.
And I've never seen him since.
But I'm about to graduate now, I'm 21 and next week was my graduation. I've forgotten about Sam and I found some amazing people here.

Peyton and I got an apartment, and my other best friends names were Tarver and Max. But I also had friends outside of those three. Let's just say, life was amazing and I love where I'm at right now.

I hate to say, Stefan is still in his coma. I go down to Omaha once a month to check in on him and the others. I haven't seen any of my old friends since two years ago, when I first went here. They're all off in college. And there was no signs of Sam.

But I stayed in touch with Johnson the most. He doesn't know where Sam was either.
Gilinsky and Emily are still together, and they're doing amazing. I always think about everybody from home, but I realize that I'm leaving a dream life and I have to move on. But this change was one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

But my new life has started, and I forgot I had to get ready.
I went into my room, grabbed the dress Peyton bought for me, and when I tried it on, it couldn't look more perfect. Tonight I could sense something good was going to happen.

Peyton changed into her dress, and we did makeup and got everything ready. I grabbed my phone, locked the door, and we were out into the city.

♥♥♥

I was dancing with people I didn't know, but I really didn't care. Everyone here was drunk, or high. Or both.
It was Friday, the nights to celebrate another long ass tiring week of all work and no fun in the city that never sleeps.

I was defiantly drunk, and I knew tomorrow I was going to have a killer hangover. But I was having fun, so why the hell not? We were supposed to meet Max and Tarver here, but I don't think they were gonna show up.

But I was wrong, because I saw Max and Tarver come in the entrance. I ran down the stairs and I ran up to them, hugging Tarver. "Hey! I'm glad you guys could make it, ishinawastim."
Tarver laughed and said, "You're wasted El." I responded, "No I'm nooottttttt! You're wasted, dumb broad."

Peyton came up to us and she hugged Max and then Tarver. "Heyyyy homies what's Gucci?" I put my arm around her neck and I leaned against her, making us both fall to the ground. "Both of them are wasted. We should get them home." Said Max.

"Max McGrey I swear if you take us home I will punch you in the lips so you won't be able to kiss your stupid little girlfriend!" I saw Peyton's face fall a little in disappointment, but I could only tell because I knew she had a thing for Max. And his girlfriend literally was messed up in the head, none of us liked her.

"She's not stupid, and we're going home. Right Tarver?" He nodded and Tarver replied, "On 3. 1, 2, 3!" Max threw Peyton over his shoulder and Tarver threw me over his. "TARVER PUT ME DOWN!"

Next thing I know I'm fast asleep in a cab with my head on Tarvers shoulder and Peyton on Max. So much for the last Friday of being a college student.

(So the first chapter of the sequel, and I'm promising that it will get better. This kind of filled in what the current stuff is here, but I'm trying something new, so 5 votes for chapter 2, and thank you guys for reading this.)
