Chapter 10

🎵I Found- Amber Run🎵
I woke up with Sams arms around me. I got out of bed, got more clothes on, and I looked at him.
He looked satisfied, I wonder what happened to Tarver. Sam had a small bruise on his face.
This was all my fault, that Sam even got a little hurt. I can't imagine what can happen in the future.

I don't know if I could even go to the hospital today, Tarver might be waiting there for me. He is gonna hurt me again.
But I walked downstairs and I saw Emily, Benny, Annie, and Lori. They all gathered into a hug, pulling me in carefully. Benny was next to me and said, "Were all coming with you, and we're protecting you. This Taver dick won't lay a finger on you."

Lori smacked his arm but agreed.
"You guys, no, this was my problem and I need to fix it-" I was cut off by Sam behind me. "This is our problem, and we're staying with you until this problem is solved. Got it?"

I nodded, and they hugged me once more. I had food, got dressed into something appropriate for the hospital, and we all left together.
And once we went inside, I saw Tarver and I held my breath. They all got around me, and held me back. I was shaking, but Sam held onto me.

I made eye contact with Tarver, and he got up walking straight towards me. Emily stepped right in his way, blocking him from getting any closer. "Hey, excuse me, I want to talk to my girlfriend please." He tried getting around her but she wouldn't let him. Benny stepped up and shoved him back a little. "Sorry, she's not coming near you."

Tarver looked angry, and his fist tried making contact with Benny's face, but he blocked it. "Don't waste your time, dick." I started to see he had a purple bruise on his lip and right near his eye, and I looked up at Sam and I knew that's where he went last night.

We walked to Stefans room, and once he saw me, he looked pissed off. "Who that fuck did this,"
"Stefan, calm yourself! Geez, I was running down the stairs with a hot iron I just unplugged and I fell, I hit my face on the railing. It's okay."
He relaxed. I hated lying, but honestly nobody needed the extra stress. Especially not Stefan.

I spent the day there, the Wilkinsons were around me, just in case.

I had to go to the bathroom, and Emily came with me. She had to go to. I went then I was washing my hands, and Emily came out too.
I see Emily being pushed onto the ground, and then I was grabbed by someone I couldn't see, and I was too weak to get out of his grip.

I knew it was Tarver, obviously. I was worried about Emily, god was she hurt badly? Why am I always fucking things up for everyone?
I was squirming to get out of his grip, and I couldn't scream because his mouth was over my mouth. He pulled us into an unoccupied room, and shut the door.

"Now, let's get back to where we left off bitch." He ripped my jacket off of me, and he forced my tank top off of my body. I was only in my bra and leggings, and it was now I had to act. I grabbed his shoulders, acting like I was "into" it. He's so damn gullible sometimes its terrible.

I elbowed him square in the face, and when he bent down, I kicked his head causing him to collapse in pain. Who does he think he is?
I'm not gonna lie, I felt like I was this badass in an action movie. Literally. I quickly put my shirt back on, and I bolted down the hallway.

Outside, it looked as if nothing happened. Inside, I was mentally high-fiving myself continuously.
I ran to the bathroom, seeing Emily left. Thank god, I hope she was okay. I sped to Stefans room, seeing only Stefan sleeping. Where was everyone?

I was running around the hospital looking for them, and it was starting to become risky. Tarver could have got up and ran after me, I still feel a buzz like I could kick ass out of anybody. I felt someone's arm go for my arm and I spun around gripping their arm hard.

I looked to see it was Nate and he winced in pain. "Nate, shit, sorry. What are you doing here?" He hugged me, squeezing the parts that have been bruised. I winced this time. "I'm checking on you guys, are you okay? You sound hurt."

"I fell down the stairs. Surprise surprise." He laughed a bit, but then I saw a faint body stumbling toward us from the very end of the hallway. "Nate, I need to find Sam, and I'm in a rush. I'll text you, peace!"
And I ran until I stumbled into Emily. She ran to me hugging me, and Annie came to join.

"Oh my god we thought we lost you, shit." I looked at Emily and she seemed okay. "Did he hurt you Em?" She shook her head. "Okay, we need to find everyone and we need to leave. I saw Tarver walking down the hallway." They both walked with me, and we spotted Benny.

We looked for Sam, Lori had gone home just in case anything happened there.
Sam couldn't be found anywhere. We looked all over. Until we came face to face with Tarver, and he grabbed me pulling me aside. And of course, just like things couldn't get any worse, Nate is running down the hall. "LET GO OF HER!"

I tried to grab Tarver, but that backfired causing him to shove me into the wall. Another bruise on my temple.
Tarver pulled something out of his shorts, not what I thought it was.
Wait,
No

It was exactly what I thought it was. He had a fucking gun.
And I was totally dreaming. And I was also loosing consciousness.
Nate was running towards us, he didn't see his gun. Until he pulled the gun up to aim.

I heard a gunshot, and I jumped. I looked over my shoulder behind me, to see if he got hit.
Nate was okay. Nate was alive, yes.
Fuck this.

I pushed Tarver over with all of the strength I had, and I punched him hard. So hard he lost consciousness. And I think my hand is broken.

But as I look over, I see Nate, Emily, and Annie crying, and I see Sam laying there with blood, and he wasn't responding.
He must have jumped in front of Nate right before Tarver shot.
Nurses came rushing over, and Sam and I were pulled apart. Once again.
I knew I wasn't dreaming, because if I was, Sam would be here to wake me up and hold me.

Where was Sam?
