Tubbo had finally agreed to let Tommy see his son, and needless to say Tommy was terrified.
He climbed up the ladder, gulping down his anxiety as he entered the room, closing the trap door. The boy turned, seeing Tubbo standing next to him, Ranboo standing with Micheal. Tubbo gestured to Tommy, introducing him. "Micheal, this is Tommy, he's your uncle." Tommy's heart nearly melted at that. Tubbo then gestured to Micheal. "Tommy, this is Micheal. He's your nephew." The blonde nodded, waving awkwardly at the piglin. The child smiled, waving back. "Hey Micheal.." Tommy mumbled, unconsciously hugging himself. Tubbo walked over to his son, picking the child up and bringing him over to Tommy. Tubbo smiled, holding Micheal out to the taller boy. "Go on, hold him!" Tommy looked down at the child, anxiety filling him. "No, I really shouldn't.." The blonde laughed it off, backing up slightly.
The goat frowned, looking over to Ranboo who had joined his husband on the other side of the room. The enderman bent down, whispering in Tubbo's ear. "Give him some time, he's probably just nervous." The shortest nodded, face going back to a smile, looking back over to Tommy. "Would you like to stay for dinner?" Tommy gave a hesitant nod, smiling slightly as he scratched his neck.

They had all gone back to Micheal's room after dinner to play, Tommy joining the child in drawing. Tubbo had immediately noticed Tommy's strange art habits. He would take time to pick very specific colors from the crayon box, and then very specifically scribble different colors, making a strange abstract drawing. "Hey Tommy?" Tubbo said, looking at the quickly growing pile of Tommy's scribbles. "Hm?" The blonde hummed, not looking away fron his current piece. Tubbo grabbed a random piece, holding it up to Tommy. "What do these colors mean?" The older asked curiously, turning the paper back around to look at it. "I don't wanna talk about it." Tommy deadpanned, drawing a circle in green and scribbled dark purple as the background. Scribbling some black in the center. Tommy glared at the page. Quickly crumbling it up. "I don't wanna draw anymore." The blonde curled up, choosing to instead watch Micheal draw.

Tubbo chuckled, putting an arm around Tommy as he tiredly layed his head on the shorter boys shoulder. Ranboo smiled warmly, holding Micheal, who was excitedly reaching out to Tommy. "I think someone likes their new play buddy." Ranboo giggled, walking forward to let Micheal grip the blonde's shirt. "Here, give him to me." Tubbo held his free arm out, taking his son. Micheal clung to the exhausted blonde, giggling and oinking. Tubbo looked between the child and Tommy, glancing at Ranboo. The enderman smiled, nodding. "Go ahead, I think Tommy's gotten comfortable enough." Ranboo assured, stepping to the other side of Tommy just incase. Tubbo tapped the tired boy's shoulder. "Hey Tommy? Micheal wants you to hold him." The blonde just nodded, opening his arms and letting the child be placed into his arms. Micheal squealed happily, putting his arms around the blonde's neck and nuzzling his cheek.
Tommy's eyes opened, and he looked down, realization setting in. He quickly handed the piglin back to his father, backing up and accidentally bumping into Ranboo. Micheal let out a saddened snort, reaching out for Tommy. Ranboo put a hand on Tommy's shoulder seeing the boy shaking. Tommy looked to the enderman, moving to hide in the taller's chest. "I'm sorry- I'm sorry.." Ranboo froze for a moment, looking over to Tubbo with worry. The taller wrapped his arms around the youngest, still looking to Tubbo for what to do. "I'm so sorry- I'm sorry-" Tommy whimpered, clinging to the older boy. "Tommy, what are you apologizing for? You haven't done anything wrong." Ranboo mumbled, rubbing the boy's back. "You wanted me to- to hold him-" Tommy hiccuped, tears forming in his eyes. "But I-"
"I can't"
"I'll hurt him."
The couple froze, both staring at the blonde with shock. Hurt him? How would Tommy even begin to hurt a child? Sure, at first he seemed to want Micheal to go away, but it never seemed like he meant it. Ranboo snapped out of his daze first, bending over slightly to hug the boy tightly. "Shh.." Ranboo slowly sat himself and the blonde down, letting the younger cry into his shoulder. Micheal squealed in distress, wiggling out of his frozen father's arms and running over to his uncle. Tubbo slowly blinked, finally snapping back. He walked forward, dropping to his knees and hugging his best friend.
"Tommy, never say that about yourself again." Tubbo whispered, Pulling the blonde as close as possible. "You are my best friend, and I know that you would never hurt my child. You've been nothing but gentle and patient with Micheal, and he absolutely loves you." Tommy just nodded, putting an arm around Tubbo as he cried into the enderman's shoulder. "Tubbo's right. Even though we have a strange relationship, I trust you, Tommy. You're a generous person who is smart and brave." Ranboo added, putting his arms around his husband, his child, and his friend; pulling them close. "We all love and trust you, Tommy. We know you wouldn't hurt us." Tubbo whispered, tears forming in his own eyes. Tommy had started softly sobbing, basically sitting in Ranboo's lap as he was hugged from all sides.
Micheal slowly crawled in-between Tommy and Ranboo, hugging the blonde's chest and oinking quietly. Tommy immediately wrapped both his arms around the child, curling around him and trying to calm down. Tubbo moved to hug the younger from behind, hiding in his shoulder.
Tommy's sobs turned into quiet gasps for air, which turned into hiccups, then silence. "I'm sorry..." The boy mumbled, hugging Micheal close and nuzzling the Piglin's cheek. "You have nothing to be sorry for, we've all been through a lot and everyone has bad patches." Ranboo comforted, pulling his now crying husband closer. Tubbo hiccuped, getting very emotional. "Why would you ever think that? You're my best friend.." Tubbo sniffled, leaning forward to hug Tommy. The blonde gave Micheal to Ranboo, pulling Tubbo into his lap and hugging him. "I know big man, and I'm sorry for saying that. I promise I won't ever again." Tommy snuggled into Tubbo's fluffy hair, rubbing his back. Ranboo smiled warmly, reaching to hold his husband's hand. "See, Tommy? Even right now, when you're upset, you still care for us. No matter what you tell yourself, you're a good person." Ranboo whispered.
Tommy huffed, hiding his smile in the older boys hair.
"Yeah, I guess I am."
