Summary: Tommy dies. That's it. This is just him experiencing the afterlife, then gets revived.(not canon afterlife)
CW: death, pretty trippy, pretty much Tommy disassociating(i think).

Tommy gasped- or, tried to gasp. When he 'gasped' no noise was made. He opened his eyes, looking around.
White. Everywhere he looked was white. He went to stand up, realizing that there wasn't a floor. He couldn't tell if he was floating or not, so whenever he tried to propel himself forward he couldn't tell if anything had changed. He 'sat' there for a while, just figuring out how this plane worked and trying to find anything to use as a landmark.
After what he assumed to be hours, he didn't have a concept of time here, he had gotten very bored.
Cold.
Or, he assumed. It wasn't hot, and he was constantly shivering, but he could actually feel the cold.
He couldn't feel anything.
After some tests, he realized he could feel anything, including pain. He tried flicking himself on the head, biting his tounge, even biting his arm until it bled.
Nothing.
He spent what he could only assume to be months, years even in the white void. He would try and scream, shout, flail around, but nothing happened. No sound, no movement. He would punch himself as hard as he could, but felt nothing. He cried, and the tears would just ambiently float, taunting him. He would pull at his hair, bite himself, scratch at his face, nothing.
He stayed there for what felt like eternity.
One day–or night? He wasn't sure. But either way, eventually, he was suddenly punched by something.
The boy wanted to cry.
He felt something punch him.
Suddenly, he was knocked unconscious.
When he opened his eyes, he didn't just see white. He saw obsidian, lava, and–
And a person..
Tommy gasped, and he heard it. He bit his tounge, and he felt it. He started to cry, and the tears rolled down his face and fell.
Dream looked at him quizzically, yelling for Sam to 'come and yet his shit' as Tommy sobbed on the floor, softly knocking himself on the head and reveling in the fact he could feel something again. Sam lowered the lava, quickly using the platform to get over, Ant standing on the other side to get them back. The creeper ran over and dropped to his knees, pulling the boy into his arms.
The hybrid felt tears sting in his eyes, holding the blond eas he sobbed. "My boy.." He whispered. Sam lifted Tommy off the floor, walking back to the platform. "There will be consequences, Dream." The man said sternly, stepping off the platform and making Tommy face away as the lava came back down.
"Tommy?" Ant whispered, nervously looking to the blonde child. Tommy tried to speak, but all that came out was a groggy sound, his brain not used to trying to make noise. The vibrations of his throat felt weird.
Sam holding him felt weird to.
Breathing was annoying.
Blinking was annoying.
Being alive was truly uncomfortable.
"Tommy, what did you see?" Sam questioned, petting the child's hair. Tommy coughed, struggling to speak. "W–" he croaked.
"White."
