Lee is currently making a Filipino dish that might be considered exotic. Well, as exotic as pig's blood and innards are in a stew. And rice, can't forget the rice.

Sue her, she's used to this shit by now.

As it was, Lee is cooking dinuguan. That's pig's blood stew, for those who don't know. It's disgusting at first glance, still disgusting the next five glances, but it's surprisingly delicious and if cooked right, won't make you sick.

Then again, just the thought of the food probably makes anyone who didn't grow up with it want to vomit.

Eh, oh well.

Anyway, why is Lee cooking a dish that might make her guardians vomit?

Because Kristin said she wanted to taste some Filipino food, and that she's willing to try a lot of things, including pig's blood and innards. And, well, Kristin's going back to America in a few days, so here Lee is, making Kristin some dinuguan.

(Maybe she should have made adobo or sinigang, but Lee was feeling ambitious and found actual pig's blood in a farmer's market when she was on the way home from Tommy's yesterday.

She may or may not be planning on making this for Tommy, Toby, and Nate when they first meet up with Nate in the UK. They'll all freak out and probably try to smack it out of her hands, but it'll be worth it.)

Just as Lee was pouring the actual blood in the pot, her phone vibrates on the counter. She ignores it in favor of finishing putting in the rest of the stuff and leaving the stew to... stew before picking up the now-silent phone and checking who called her or what kind of alarm she set while half-asleep again.

Apparently she has a missed facetime from Tommy, the clingy shit. They'd just seen each other literally less than 12 hours ago, and here he was calling her.

Not that she minds, really, but she does like being dramatic. And she likes to point out how a third of their daily calls are started by him.

(She doesn't know how to actually maintain a friendship without seeming clingy, but with Tommy like this, she's more than willing to be clingy, too.)

Lee doesn't even try and call Tommy back because suddenly he's facetiming her again. She smiles, thinking about how they tend to call each other repeatedly if the other doesn't answer immediately.

Tommy's voice greets her the moment she answers, "Morning dickhead." He said. He looks like he just showered, hair wet and soaking the pillow he's laying on. "Why didn't you answer?"

Lee shakes her head and leans the phone on a glass on the counter so she doesn't have to hold it. She sits down on a stool. "I was cooking, Toms."

"Well cook later, I'm bored."

"Entertain yourself, asshole." Lee quipped back, used to it. This is a morning routine now, really. One of them will call and insult the other, demanding to be entertained.

It started when Tommy was apparently bored in the middle of the night, but Toby was on Nate's stream. So, like the gremlin he is, he called Lee, who he knows tunes in to MCYT streams no matter the time and doesn't sleep anyway. Lee answered, and the rest is history.

"I am, bitch."

"Dumbass."

"Fucker."

"Motherfucker."
