PIPER'S POV>>>>>

I wouldn't have been much help in the state I was in.

I was in the Aphrodite Cabin, sitting on my bed, curled up with my head in my hands; unmoving.

I was still processing what had just happened. I refused to believe that Percy had just led an invasion our camp - one of the worst we'd seen, too. It was just too unbelievable. Then, I heard a knock on the door.

"Piper?" a voice called out, muffled by the wood.

"Jason wants to see you. He just woke up."

That caught my attention. I unfurled myself and scrambled over to the door, opening it a crack. I saw Annabeth standing there with a faint look of worry.

"Jason wants to see you." She repeated.

I'd barely said "Thanks" when I dashed out the door, and then I recalled the eerie-like holes that he'd been sporting, but hadn't been bleeding. I still wasn't entirely sure if that was a good or bad thing.

When I reached the infirmary, I found it wasn't as crowded as before, and only the campers with severe injuries remained. Some were so gruesome I knew I'd have nightmares about them.

When I finally spotted Jason, he waved at me and smiled weakly. I rushed over to him and saw his wounds were almost completely healed. Rather than gaping holes, he had cresent-shaped indents where they once were.

I almost crushed him in a bear hug when I remembered that wouldn't be the best idea, so I just settled for a kiss.

"What happened?!" I practically screamed.

"Well," he began, "it was an arai."

"Okay, then?"

"Well, I attacked it, and after a few minutes defeated it. But, because it was an arai, it inflicted pain from a monster I'd defeated."

"Well, what was it?"

"It was more of a who, actually," he started.

"It was Dylan."

I was stunned. Dylan? Why did we seem to keep running into him?

"Yeah, back when I first beat him at the Canyon. The holes represent what happened to him, I guess," he finished.

I sighed, then chuckled. Jason looked at me, confused.

"You just keep running into him, Dylan, is all," I explained, voicing my earlier thoughts.

"Piper!" I heard someone say. "There's a meeting in the big house, in 30 seconds!"

"Seriously?! And they tell me now?!" was my first thought.

"Well, that's my cue to go, I guess." Piper grumbled to Jason.

He chuckled and said, "You're funny. See you around, then."

"Bye."

"Okay, let's get this meeting started," Chiron initiated.

Silence.
Dead.
Silence.

Leo cleared his throat. "Well," he started, "isn't this awkward."

Still silence.

"Guys, come on!" Annabeth roared. "Percy just shamelessly invaded our camp! That's not normal!"she continued.
