Caught off guard

𝑆1:𝐸𝑝19~𝐷𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑚 𝑂𝑛

I love my morning routine;

i start my day being woken by my dog licking my face, then i decide to head to my bathroom and have a pick me up. i brush my teeth and get changed into my running stuff and grab a coffee then head to school.

when i jump the fence i decide to go for another pick me up in the bathroom then change in the lockers, school gets opened up and then i decide to do some school work.

then my day carries on like normal, and I'm currently in glee sitting next to jessie as he is giving me an ear full

"you need to come to dinner tonight okay Andy, your mom is getting worried and there is only so many times where i can tell her that you have an essay due or you are at the cinema when in fact you are upstairs doing god knows what." he whisper shouts to me

"okay Broadway, ill try for tonight."

"well at least you are talking to Santana."

"what?" i say confused

"yeah she called me Broadway when she was talking to me last week-"

"what was she talking to you about last week?" i say slightly louder

"chill Andy its not a big deal-"

"no, i decide what is a big deal and what isn't."

he raise his hands "jeez Andy she was just asking if you had been weird lately."

"well i haven't." i state

"well okay then." he states back

i turn my head to see Santana looking at me and she waves slightly but i turn my head back and Mr shue and this guy walks in

"okay guys, listen up.  this is Mr. Ryan. he's a member of the school board, and he would like to say a few words. i-i just want yo guys to listen critically and know that what he is saying is just one of many opinions." he says finally

"take out a piece of paper." Mr Ryan said so we do. "and on that paper, i want you to write down your biggest dream." so we do "a dream that means so much, you're afraid to admit it even to yourself.

i cant think of anything so i don't write a word i just fold it up.

he rips up Artie's dram and then says "your dream is never going to happen. 91% of you will spend your entire lives living in Allen County, Ohio. so unless you wrote down that your dream was to 'work of a mid-market heath insurance provider' or 'find an entry level job in an elderly care facility,' you're going to be very disappointed. this is really depressing." he sighs loudly" I'm going to guess hat a lot of your dreams involve 'showbiz' well, let me tell you. showbiz dreams are the most unrealistic of them all."

"but... that's what i want to do with my life." Tina says

"oh, look I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, I'm just trying to spare you disappointment." he says

Mr shue steps in "i think we get your point."

"aw, well, Schuster here's a prime example. he used to have that glimmer of hope in his eyes that i can see right now in all of yours. but he couldn't make it happen for himself, so he now has to try and convince you all that it will happen for you. guess what his dream didn't work out. and neither will yours."

Tina starts crying and Mr shue says "okay our done here.

"you would be wise to show me some respect." he says

i cant hold it back anymore so i stand up "respect? respect. you want respect. okay how about you respect that your opinion is shit."

"Andy!" Mr shue says
