Caught off guard

I'm walking down the hall and Tina comes over to me

"have you seen it?" she asks, not elaborating at all

i look at her "what are u on about T?" i say as i put away my book i was reading

"the list!" she states

"What list?"

"the glist, about who is hot and who is not." she states handing me one

i read through it:

1)Quinn

2)Santana

3) Andrea

"wait I'm third?" i say out loud and a guy from the hockey team smacks my ass suddenly

"HELL YEAH YOU ARE, I GOT NUMBER THREE!" he yells screaming up and down the hall then high fives another guy on the team as they look me up and down.

"what the fuck?" i whisper to no one specific

"at least u are close to the top, in near the bottom." she states sadly

i pull her in under my arm "honestly T you can have my spot, id rather be not seen at all." i state

she smiles "thats kind of you Andy but you aren't invisible anymore and thats a proven fact now." she states

this causes me to look round seeing peoples eyes on me for what feels like the first time ever. i suddenly feel nervous and let go of Tina "i- i gotta go to the bathroom, see u in glee." i state not really letting her have time to react.

I'm sitting in glee reading and Mr shue comes in with the Glist "who did it?" he asks but no one replies "this is serious, principle Figgins is threatening to disband  the glee club."

Santana brakes the silence "why are we playing this game? we all know it was puck."

"back off i didn't do squat." he states

"then why is your girlfriend first on the list?" Tina asks

"And why am i last?" Rachel asks "aside from the fact that i refused to put out for you."

"you aren't special berry, I'm third and i also rejected puck." i state to her with a smirk

"Okay enough! No one is accusing anyone of anything." Mr shue says but then turns to puck and says "puck seriously did you do it?"

"i said no, I'm a delinquent sure, i like setting stuff on fire and beating up people i don't know, i won that. but I'm not a liar" he states finally

"alright, here's the important point. between this." he says lifting the list in his hands "and posting coach Sylvester's personal video to YouTube, you guys are getting a pretty bad reputation."

weirdly Artie speaks out "why is that a bad thing? maybe if we seem more dangerous, people could stop flushing my glasses down the toilet."

i whisper to Kurt "thats why i wear contacts." and he shoves me on the arm causing me to wince slightly from the paint underneath my jumper, he doesn't notice.

"look, things are hard right  now, i get it, with regionals coming up. and i know the winning sectionals hasn't had the kind of effect that you thought it would. but becoming what you despise is not the answer." he says handing us all some sheet music.

"man this song is whack." Mercedes says

"no, its not. its a terrific song thats on a long list of top charts. just because of time and some bad press, its become a joke and like you guys, it time to start rehabilitating its bad reputation." her goes to the centre of the room "for the assignment this week, is for all of you to find a songs like this, mine them for what works and make them great again and then hopefully, you can apply this musical lesson to your won lives." he finishes
