Can I call you winter?

Liza Avery Barton had a hard life so far. She watched her mother die infront of her, her father didn't stick around, and she figured out she had powers. All throughout it she has been strong and she is still her happy normal self.

Liza is a kind girl, she hates violence and fighting. She didn't become an Avenger for the fighting and violence part of it. She did it because she wanted to help people. She was the teams healer. Liza has healing abilities. Were she gets it from nobody knows.

They randomly appeared one day when she had the natural instinct to heal a cut on her friends leg. Of course she had to find out about her powers after her mother died.

So far she's met almost everyone apart of the avengers. Liza has yet to meet Captain America but she's very excited about it. She had so many questions to ask him. Liza was a curious girl at heart but kept herself from asking to many questions. She didn't want to come off as rude or annoying.

Liza walked into the kitchen. Her hair pulled up in a messy ponytail and a blanket lazily wrapped around her shoulders. "Good morning Liza" her uncle smiled brightly at the girl. "Good morning uncle clint" she groaned. She may be nice on a normal day but if you catch her in the morning you wouldn't think it was her.

Liza isn't a morning person and she was the most violent she could ever possibly be in the mornings. "Tony could you be nice for one minute and make me coffee. Please" she gave him her best smile and he caved.

"Fine" he huffed and made Liza her morning coffee. "Here you go" he slid it down to her on the marble counter top. "Thank you" she smiled down at the cup. He nodded his head at Liza before continuing to order Jarvis around. He was planning another party.

"Come sit, princess. I have something for you" Clint patted the chair next to him. "Are you ever not going to call me princess?" She shook her head at him. "Not a chance" he took out a box and handed it to her.

The box had a red ribbon neatly tied around the box. "Open it" he nudged liza's shoulder with his. She rolled her eyes playfully and opened the box. Inside was a dagger. Blue and black colored the handle, the sharp silver blade being freshly sharpened.

"No I don't want this" she pushed the box away from her. Liza didn't want to own a weapon, one she would never use it, and two she doesn't want that thing anywhere near her.

"Liza just because you have a big heart and don't want to hurt people doesn't mean others do" clint pushed the box back towards her. "It's for your protection. I'm not saying you have to use it I'm saying you should keep it incase you do have to use it. As the newest avenger on the team you could possibly have a target on your back"

She sighed and let her head fall into her hands which were being propped up on the table by her elbows. Liza knew her uncle was right she just didn't want to keep the weapon. "Fine but don't expect me to carry it around everywhere I go"

"Good then it's settled" Clint said to his neice. "I'm going to go put this away" liza put the lid on the box and carried it to her room. She opened the drawer to her nightstand and set it down carefully.

She sat around and watched Netflix and read as she waited for time to pass. She just wanted to get this party over with. Liza had to go to it but she didn't necessarily want to.

When time came she started to get ready. She threw on her new dress Natasha had gifted to her. Clint might freak out by it but Liza didn't care. Clint always told her "never wear anything of Natasha's".

Clint thought her clothes were to showy for Liza to wear but she didn't care. The dress looked nice on her and she wanted to wear it.

The dress was a pretty red color with a low cut showing a little cleavage. The dress ended at the middle of her thighs and was tight against her body. This wasn't her first pick of dresses but it would work for her.
