chapter sixteen- facade

Facade

Everything is bright white for a moment then it goes back to normal. Liza can see everything loki went through. Him falling off the bifrost, him being in thanos's possession, all the torture and pain he went through. She saw everything. She saw him finding out he was a frost giant, she even felt the betrayal he felt for his 'father'.

Liza did see some good memories too. His mother teaching him magic when he was a boy. Loki was always in thor's shadow but his mom made him feel special. He's a momma's boy for sure. Liza herself was a momma's girl. She couldn't be a daddy's girl, she had no dad only a sperm donor.

She saw, heard, and felt everything he went through. Liza was starting to see the God differently. She had only met him once and she didn't like him but now that she knows everything she sees him different, broken. Just like she is, just like bucky is, and just like the rest of the avengers are.

Everyone's broken in some way

Liza's eyes faded back from there plain bright white color back to their normal state. Blue with a hint of green in them.

Liza sat up quickly, she was still in bucky's lap. She had been out for mearly a minute and she saw a life time of memories. Liza quickly rushed over to loki ignoring the questions from her team.

Loki's eyes started to open and instead of seeing the blue color they were an hour ago they were a green color. "Green eyes huh?" She asked softly.

"You know, don't you?" he asked cringing slightly at the thought of anyone knowing about his trauma. Liza nodded her head, "I know everything loki"

"Don't pity me" he spat at her thinking she was. "I'm not, we're quite the same actually. Both of us were controlled, we've both been tortured, and we both have a shit ton of trauma"

"Don't-" Liza cut him off already knowing what he was going to say. "I won't tell anyone. I promise" she smiled kindly.

"What the fuck is going on?!" Natasha yelled. "You weren't saying anything but it was like you knew what each other was saying"

"You saw everything didn't you?" Thor asked, Liza nodded her head. "They have a connection" thor announced to the team motioning two the two with his hammer. "A connection? With loki?" Clint had no idea what it was but he knew that if loki was involved it was bad. Clint was controlled by him. Anything revolving loki was terrible in his eyes.

"Yes. He was in a weak state and subconsciously let lady liza into his head, which is what just happened. She got to see everything the good memories and the bad ones"

"Okay but that doesn't explain the connection" Clint shook his head out of confusion. "We can talk to each other without actually talking out loud because our minds are connected" loki explained.

"Wait you didn't see anything right?" Liza asked frantically, eyes wide out of pure panic. She didn't want anyone to know everything. Not even bucky knew everything. "I did" he nodded, half lying to her. "You've went through quite a lot lady liza" he grinned lightly. "So have you loki" she quipped.

"Wait so he knows what you went through now?" bucky asked. Liza nodded her head "he knows more than you do now" she smiled weakly. She hated that her privacy was invaded but loki's was too so she couldn't complain about it.

"If you say anything about what you saw you'll be dead before you can summon heimdall to run away like the little bitch you are" Liza sneared, threatening loki through their minds. The whole seeing him differently thing going straight out the window.
