Chapter 9

Tonight was the bonfire party on the beach. Anyone and everyone will be there. It's like the end of the summer party that pretty much anyone that goes to high school in California goes to. It's always a huge party.

It was about 2 hours before the party and Cassidy and I were getting ready.

I decided on wearing a leopard print bikini top with hot pink bottoms. I put jean shorts on too with my bikini top. I left my hair wavy and put on light makeup.

Cassidy looked gorgeous as always. She had a bright blue bikini on. She straightened her black hair and she didn't need makeup.

"Why do I even try to look as good as you?" I teased nudging her side.

"Whatever! You look hot! Hunter is going to flip when he sees you. And your boobs look really good!"

"Thanks!" I said laughing. "Now let's go!"

We walked into the kitchen to meet Hunter and Brent.

"What are we waiting for? Hunter stop drooling over Mali, and let's go!" Cassidy said rolling her eyes.

I could feel the red on my face. Before I got anymore embarrassed Cassidy grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the door.

We walked to the place since it was like a 15 minute walk.
When we finally got there it was 7, but the beach was already packed with drunk teenagers dancing.

"What time do they light the fire?" I asked Brent.

"Around 9:30 I think." He said. "I don't know how late I'm going to stay, but make sure you get home safe. I knew you'll stay out all night."

"I will! Don't worry!" I said giving my brother a hug.
He really did care about me. He is very protective since my parents..

Cassidy and I talked to a few people for a while until we got bored. We decided to go get a drink and sit by the water.

We had just gotten our drinks when Cassidy faded into the crowd. She probably met a guy and went to dance with him. I stood alone drinking my beer, until I went to dance.

I knew none of these people but I danced with them anyways. After a few cups of beer I was having the best time! I stumbled through the crowd looking for Cassidy until I bumped into someone, I spilt my beer all over him.

"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!!" I said as he turned around.

"It's fine Mali!" I looked up and saw Hunter laughing at me. "You have always been a cults, especially when you're drunk."

"Whatever let's dance." I said bringing him close to me. I was too drunk to care about what I was doing. I danced on him as my legs were wobbly underneath me.

"I think you need to sit down." Hunter said picking me up bridal style.

"Put me down! I want to daaannnccceee!" I said loudly.

Hunter just laughed, but he didn't put me down.
As we carried me through the crowd I grabbed someone's drink and chugged it down.

"I think you have had enough." Hunter said putting me down my the water.

"I don't care. Summer Is almost over, I want to have fun!" I said trying to get up, but I fell.

"Oh no, your not going anywhere." Hunter said sitting me back down.

"Why? Do you want me all to yourself?" I questioned staring into his eyes.

Instead of answering me his lips crashed into mine.
