Caught Sleeping [Aomine Daiki] [Kuroko No Basuke]

Her home was a small one-story but it was plain, simple but welcoming. Aomine was nervous being completely alone with Kiana as no one was home and he could hear the deafening silence. "Isn't it lonely living alone?" He asked sitting on her couch as he watched her rummage through a kitchen cabinet.

"Not really. Sometimes you just need a break from everything so it's a good thing. Besides, I want my parents to go on holidays and have some alone time." He nodded as she chucked a packet at his toned stomach.

"I ran out of cookies but do clouds work?" He shrugged and grabbed 3 red clouds from the packet and stuffed his mouth with them. She giggled and sat besides him on the couch cross-legged as he tossed them into the air and caught them with his mouth. Kiana tried to do the same but failed miserably as the lolly hit the corner of her mouth and fell onto her lap.

"You got sugar all over yourself." He laughed as his hand cupped her right cheek and his thumb brushed over the corner of her lips. She stared his at him with wide eyes as he chuckled at her cute reaction. "Thanks I guess." She looked away and picked up the cloud off of her lap and poked it into his mouth. "Present for you being sweet." She giggled and got off the couch.

"You can stay over tonight if you're too lazy to walk back." He stared at the back of her figure and he heard a single loud thump. "Are you trying to trick me to get into bed with you?" Aomine asked with a suspicious raised brow trying to ignore his beating heart.

"Well did you trick me into wearing your hoodie?" Kiana responded to his question. "Yes."

"Then there's your answer." She joked as she motioned for him to follow her around. Aomine texted his mum to let her know he wasn't coming home to which she responded 'Just make sure you use protection.' with a winky face. He cringed at his phone and immediately turned off the screen when Kiana tried to take a peep.

She gave him a brief tour of her house and led him to her bathroom. She opened a brand new tooth brush for him as they brushed their teeth together. He also helped brush Kiana's long black hair out when there was a knot in the back she couldn't reach. It surprised her how gentle he was because most people would tug on the knot like their life depended on it.

"Come on. Let's go to sleep now. I got work tomorrow." She grabbed his wrist and dragged him into her bedroom.

When she opened the door he immediately inhaled her aroma as his eyes skimmed the room. Her room was minimalistic with a bed pushed to the corner, a small white-framed window, a study desk with a gaming pc set up and a cupboard. "Damn your set up is sick." He stared at her light up keyboard and peeped at some test results that were spread out on her table.

"You're actually pretty smart." She stripped off his hoodie, "Well did you think I was dumb?" She laughed. "A little." He joked as she threw the hoodie at his face before asking him to hang it up for her as she snuggled under her blanket.

By now it was almost 11pm and Kiana let out a soft yawn, "Come here already." He hesitantly stared at her and flicked off the lights. The moonlight shone through as Aomine slowly slid under the covers besides the girl. It was silent at first as Aomine stared at the ceiling, both hands behind his head, still in disbelief that he was sleeping in his crushes bed, in her room, next to her. His head spun as he remembered what Kise had said earlier.

And without thinking he blurted out the forbidden question, "Do you have anyone you like?" Kiana froze, caught off guard by the sudden question. She had only just recently realised that she had fallen for the tanned basketball player besides her but she wasn't sure how he felt.

"Well do you?" She asked turning to look into his dark blue orbs. He turned on his side to face her, returning her deep stare. The moonlight shone on her soft expression and his fingers twitched. He slowly wrapped his muscular arms around her thin waist, pulling her into his chest. Kiana's breath hitched in her throat. He lifted his right hand and brushed some hairs out of her face softly and grabbed her chin to make sure she was looking at him, and only him.

Her heart throbbed loudly and rapidly and she was worried he could feel her heart throb against his chest. But the rosy tint she could just slightly see across his cheeks made her second guess herself, maybe he was nervous as well. She stared longingly into his eyes and closed her own as she watched his shut his blues and lean in.

She felt his rosy lips brush her own, and she shivered. This was really happening. He was unsure if he was ready or not or how she even felt towards him, but he felt like it was the perfect moment. He couldn't help himself any longer and he wanted an answer now.

And so it happened. She felt his lips press onto her own as he grabbed her waist tighter pulling her into him even more. She felt electricity sparks fly and her heart melt, as their lips connected. Her stomach erupted into butterflies she could no longer contain.

He kissed her.

And even in the dark she could see his dorky smile when he pulled away and stared at her flustered face, resting his forehead on her's. Her lips were slightly parted, hair framed her face but it was her aquamarine blue eyes that he loved and couldn't get enough of. "Aomine-" She breathed but Aomine cut her off. "Call me Daiki."

"Daiki -I" "I like you Kiana." He cut her off once more as he watched her ocean orbs enlarge once more. She felt her heart momentarily freeze, just like how she did.

He finally said it.

But he instantly began panicking when he realised what he had just done and his sudden wave of confidence disappeared just as fast as it came by. He pulled his head away from her's. "I'm sorry I kissed you without asking. If you don't like me back it's okay I just-"

He felt her hands crawl up to his face and cup both of his cheeks and this time he was the person to be left stunned. Kiana pressed her lips once more on his, savouring the taste she already missed so much. He closed his eyes and kissed her back. When she pulled away, she giggled seeing his stunned expression. "You talk too much." She laughed as she flicked his forehead softly, snapping him out of his trance.

"Does that mean?" She didn't respond and instead rested her cheek on his chest smiling peacefully. He couldn't hold back his toothy smile and blush any longer.

At least i'm not little spoon this time.
