Caught Sleeping [Aomine Daiki] [Kuroko No Basuke]

Kuroko had seen his old ace with an unfamiliar girl after the game but he decided not to say anything. He saw Aomine laughing with the girl the way he used to laugh in middle school.

Hyuuga nudged Kuroko out of his thoughts. "Don't be too hard on yourself. You played well. It's in the past." The captain reassured as Kuroko absentmindedly sipped on his milkshake.

"I was just thinking about Aomine's girlfriend." Kuroko replied and the entire Seirin team gasped. "You're telling me a monster like him has a girlfriend? And I don't?" Koganei cried as everybody except Kagami reacted. "No way a guy that crazy has a girlfriend." Hyuuga exclaimed but Kuroko's same expression made them realise he was serious. "Or at least I think he has one." Kuroko whispered sinking in his chair trying to use his misdirection to disappear from the attention.

"I'm right next to you! Don't try and disappear on me." Kagami exclaimed as he saw a sulken Kuroko deep in thought. "I wonder if she's cute."
"Maybe she's a psycho." "What if she's some crazy beast with three legs?"

"Well that's her." The entire team looked up to see a girl and the familiar enemy who had completely destroyed their entire team a couple days before. Kiana had asked Aomine to treat her to some Maji Burger as his first mission of retribution.

"Aomine-kun" The tanned boy went from smiling to the girl at his side to glaring at the group of boys.

"Tetsu." Kiana tilted her head to the light blue haired boy.

"Oh my god she's human!" Koganei exclaimed which raised Aomine's brow and made Hyuuga violently stamp on the cat-looking boy's foot.

"She's cute." Izuki muttered and through his eagle eye he could see the murderous stare of Aomine which made him gulp and pretend to be distracted by an empty burger wrapper.

Before even realising it, the entire Seirin team including Rika had scrambled away and left Aomine and Kiana sitting across Kagami and Kuroko.

"Kiana, nice to meet you." Kiana awkwardly waved knowing of Kuroko but unaware of the red head besides him. The entire Seirin stared wide-eyed at the intense atmosphere the booth besides them emulated. "Kagami Taiga."

"Is she your girlfriend Aomine-kun?" Aomine grinned, with one of his arms lazily slung over her shoulders, he placed his other hand on her thigh, "Yeah she is." Kiana looked at Aomine and smiled softly, it was the first time he had called her that. She tugged on his cheek absentmindedly and the booth heard a squeal from the booth sides them.

"Does she have a death wish?" "I can't believe she only has two arms." "Is she crazy?" "She's so cute."

Kiana placed her hand on Aomine's to reassure him that you found their comments funny rather than offensive. Kuroko watched intensely as Aomine calmed himself before returning to the conversation. I think she's good for him.

A couple of weeks later after the competition, the Toō basketball team were told to prepare for a training trip. Aomine and Kiana were almost completely back to normal and Aomine was so grateful for Kiana's forgiving nature.

"She won't be able to come along Aomine." The coach sighed as the Ace grumbled slurs under his breath. "I can try to sneak you into my luggage. You're small enough." Kiana slapped the back of his head as he laughed and looked down at her to exaggerate their height difference, petting the top of her head.
