3RD PERSON POV: Y/n, Jack, Julian and Charlotte were currently showing the new kid, Auggie, around the school. Charlotte was ranting about Broadway which Y/n didn't mind since she was used to it but when they got to the cafeteria, Julian turned to look at the blonde girl. "Hey Charlotte?" He said making her smile brightly at him as Jack, Y/n and Auggie stopped walking and watched them.
"Do you ever stop talking?" The dark haired boy asked rudely which made Charlotte's smile drop, and it also made Y/n mad. "Hey julian?" She spoke up and the boy looked at her. "Do you ever stop being rude, or stop wearing those stupid leather jackets?" She sassed and it made him go pink in embarrassment and anger as the others laughed, even Auggie let out a laugh.
Jack smiled proudly at the girl, who he secretly had a crush on. While Charlotte smiled gratefully at her best friend. "Whatever" Julian huffed and went back to talking about the cafeteria and also...Auggie once again. Y/n felt something touch her hand and looked down to see Jack's holding hers and instantly smiled. But what she didn't see...was Julian glaring at them both...

As time went on, both Julian and Jack tried to impress Y/n...well not Jack. He was a natural amazing, sweet boy and he impressed Y/n all the time! No doubt she liked him more than Julian so when Jack finally asked her out, a spark of anger lit up in Julian...and it caused something horrible. As Y/n wandered through the halls, she heard two boys...more specifically, Jack and Julian.
"You know i like her Jack, you cant just go and ask her out!" Julian complained, his voice filled with rage. Jack rolled his eyes and opened his locker to grab his books. "Dude, I didn't know you liked her and also, i can ask her out because who can stop me? Plus, its not my fault you were too chicken to ask first" hearing her boyfriend say this, Y/n smiled proudly and blushed.
She loved how Jack was actually fighting for her...not physically though which made it better. "Dude, your not allowed to have her, shes mine not yours!" Julian argued back.
"Look Julian, first of all; shut up! Second of all, my girlfriend isn't an object that belongs to someone, shes a person. Your not allowed to have her and neither is anyone else, including me. You know why? Because shes a person, and we respect her. Yeah- she may be my girlfriend but im not gonna say shes mine so everyone else has to back off, Y/n does what she wants" Jack explained angrily and slammed his locker causing other kids to flinch at the sound, including Julian.
That whole speech made Y/n blush even more...she now knew that Jack actually loved and respected her, it made her feel special. The girl turned the corner and gently grabbed Jack's hand causing him to look at her. His once mad look, softened. All his anger and hatred towards Julian was washed away and forgotten about when he saw the girl he loved. "Lets go" she said with a smile and Jack kissed her cheek and asked "wanna come to mine after school?" Causing his girlfriend to nod.
As they walked away; Julian's eyes followed with a look of jealousy. The respectful boys always get the girls... And that's something Julian learned!
